I've been on Amazon lately buying books about Princess Diana and even found a Princess Diana wedding doll at a very reasonable price. Yesterday was grocery day and pet supply day (Aspen bedding for my boys and girl).

Solid black or black rims with the faux-tortoisehell on the arms?

Pretty swish.

Not much for me today - tea & sandwiches at the local cafe. Oh, and I won an eBay auction for a nice ice bucket for a good price. Play.com have sent out the book I ordered on food/wine matching too.

I bought the limited edition Blazing Saddles soundtrack the other day because two of my friends actually worked on it.

I donated some money to a particular candidate for the Presidency. Not exactly a purchase, but an expense nonetheless.

I also dropped about $40 on gas the other day, and another $32 on dinner with some friends.

I was looking for some horn rims a la Heroes, but the wife put the kibosh on them.

You should have gone for them, if they suit your face. Browline specs have a sort of nerdy/retro coolness about them. The nerdiness is toned down by the horn versus solid black. Examples close to the Heroes guy's glasses, if you go looking again would be Shuron Ronsir or Ray-Ban Clubmaster (swap out the shades for clear frames).

Muffins from the local bakery, crispy minis to eat while watching rented movies, and a birthday card for a friend turning 30.

The old credit card has been exercised.

Ordered a pair of these with the pictured Green Route finish. Annoyingly, Levi's seem to stop at a 34" leg for bootcut jeans. I suppose it's nice that they do anything in a 36" leg as Gap seem to have given up on us tall people entirely.

I received Heroes season two on Blu-Ray yesterday.

Recently, I've bought: the book 'Wicked' by Gregory Maguire, deoderant, tea tree & mint shampoo and conditioner, a Cricket magazine. And my mum bought me a Dr Pepper this afternoon.

Ice bucket and new wine glasses delivered yesterday. Christened the glasses today with a bottle of 1986 Labergorce Zede Margaux. Christening the ice bucket will have to wait for another day!
