Yeah, but it's crocodile, which always goes for a pretty penny. And while I don't use a briefcase all that regularly, it would be worth having that one on the occasions I needed one. Mainly because one tends to need a briefcase on more formal occasions like going to meetings or whatever, and having such an eccentric one is the sartorial equivalent of shouting "SOD YOU ALL, I DON'T GIVE A MONKEYS" to everyone else in the room.

I spent around $30 at my local haunt last night with a buddy. Before that, it was dinner, and tickets for a double-feature today.
Yeah, but it's crocodile, which always goes for a pretty penny. And while I don't use a briefcase all that regularly, it would be worth having that one on the occasions I needed one. Mainly because one tends to need a briefcase on more formal occasions like going to meetings or whatever, and having such an eccentric one is the sartorial equivalent of shouting "SOD YOU ALL, I DON'T GIVE A MONKEYS" to everyone else in the room.

I'm anticipating highly unpleasant bills next week.
The plumbers failed to completely fix a bathroom leak yesterday, so I will have to call them back on Monday... thing is, they fixed what I thought was the problem (and in truth, undoubtedly contributed). That was fairly straightforward.
But it's still leaking from somewhere and now the obvious problem is fixed, that means what's left is the probability of a leak somewhere rather more inaccessible.
Which means ripping up floorboards and having a proper poke around. Which means mucho labour costs.
And in the meantime, I'm having to use the main bathroom instead of the en suite, which is mildly inconvenient too...

Thanks for the good luck wishes, kim! I decided to go with a plumber I've used before to good results rather than the guys I called out on Friday in a hurry who didn't fix the problem right. He can't visit until Wednesday, but at least the water has nearly all dried out now, so I can wait.
