And I like gadgets too. It's just that, if you can pit an avocado, you don't need to be in a kitchen.

Do people not know how to eat fruit??

Gee, I'm glad I could make people feel good about themselves. Hopefully it's not the highlight of your week though because that would be just plain sad.

Nicely put. I feel suitably chastised. I think I'll go have a banana. I have to peel that one, right....? :p

Do you really want to know what I think you can do with that banana?

^
I love you.

Maybe you two can move in together and play with fruit all day. :D

Today I bought a new tire pump for my bike adding yet another gadget to my collection.

**insert obvious hot air jokes here**

Unfortunately I wont have it very long as Im getting some alterations done. (I.E, the name and number sewn on)

I just picked up another book that Syd Mead did for United States steel back in the 1960's called Fashions in Steel. This is one of those times that I really love ebay.

Yeah. Ebay is probably the only reason why i was able to buy that jersey. Yay for vintage.

had the generator rebuilt for the 34 ford.

planning on installing it next week and get the old girl running again. went through 3 batteries before I tested one under load and it wasn't drawing any charge. I thought it was initially bad batteries -not many make 6V anymore.

Ouch.

Are you still able to get 6v batteries in Colorado or do you have to order them?

Let's see:

-colored construction paper
-string
-12 rolls of paper towels

-brads
On Wednesday I'm taking two of my classes on a bird walk at the New York Botanical Gardens; tomorrow we are making our binoculars, which will be utterly adorable. My teachers told me on Friday that they wouldn't be able to collect enough tp tubes for the binoculars, which meant I had to get enough for 48 students for tomorrow. I took some from public restrooms, dug through my recycling, had my roommates save theirs, and still came up short. Finally I stopped by Ben and Jerry's (where I worked in college and where many of my friends still work), and my friends and I spent a very difficult hour sliding all the cardboard tubes out of their stock of paper towels. I still had to buy more.
I also had to make a clock that looks like a tree.

The last two Sims 2 expansion packs I didn't have (Pets, Bon Voyage)
Brides of Dracula and Ark of Truth DVD's

Ranma 1/2 season 6

I can't remember much past Season 4... guess I'll have to borrow the sets again. All I can really recall is that it probably took me until Season 6 to get used to the departure of Sarah Strange.
Oh, Ranma! I haven't seen the anime, but I loved the manga when I was a kid. I don't recall Sarah Strange though.

Sorry to say, it's the only anime in my DVD collection. It sits between my Rockford Files and Dukes of Hazzard DVD sets.

Awesome shoes - loved them from the moment I first saw them. I prefer them in the white rather than that silver, but still, gorgeously fun!

I bought a book of biscuit (cookie) recipes from the Dorchester Abbey tearooms. Went to visit the village, have a walk in the beautiful countryside (gorgeous warm sunshine today - rare for a Bank Holiday!), tour the Abbey and then have a bite to eat at the abbey's tearooms. Everything home-made & I couldn't resist buying one of their recipe books to try a few things out at home! :)
