I bought the first issue of IDW's newest TNG miniseries, "Intelligence Gathering." Man was it good! I can't wait for the second issue!

Battlestar Galactica S3
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
Rufus Wainwright's Release The Stars

(yay for tax refunds =))

Lost Season 3 on Blu-Ray. I got it for only $9.99 since Amazon had it on a huge discount plus I finally got the $30 credit from the Amazon card.

Two books on Amazon today to complete a trilogy. I didn't know the first book was part of a trilogy until yesterday. It is an older book but I was lucky. The two others are still in print. :D

Plus, some 'Phantom' related items. A souvenir booklet and magnet from 'Phanton - The Las Vegas Spectacular' and a couple of playbills. That dog-goned Phantom is running me to the poorhouse!

Almost forgot, book one in the 'Through Phantom Eyes' series. I understand there will be eight  books. That should keep me busy for a while.

Baby merino yarn (lace weight) for baby outfits I designed.

Now, if I can only get them knit before the children arrive... :D

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

Which version - the recent(ish) film, or the BBC miniseries? (I have both.)

Rufus Wainwright's Release The Stars

Excellent choice. I love the songs "Do I Disappoint You", "Sanssouci" and "Tulsa". Rufus is my current musical crush (though Neil Tennant will always be #1 in my heart :) ).

I got The Terminator and The Corpse Bride on Blu-ray today. I also got Heroes S1 and Bones S1 and S2 on DVD.

I just bought a new computer, and the things is a beast!

AMD Phenom Quad-core 2.2GHz processor
3GB DDR2 RAM
640GB SATA II 7200RPM Hard Drive
nVidia GeForce 8500GT graphics card (soon to be replaced)
Built-in TV Tuner

I added my Creative X-Fi XtremeMusic sound card and am saving up for an ATI Radeon HD 3870 512MB graphics card and a 500w power supply. And even stock, and running Vista, this thing is lightning fast.

*nerdgasm*

The recent-ish movie. =)

I actually wanted to Hawksley Workman's (Last Night We Were) the Delicious Wolves but Play.com didn't have it. So I got 'stuck' with Rufus. ;)

Gasoline
Groceries
A shelf to put one of my boy's (gerbil's) tanks on. They squabbled and had to be separated. They both seem much happier now. They can hear and smell each other. I think they will be able to see each other when I get the shelf up.

Michael's like a different gerbil. He's much more relaxed and is more active in gerbil activities. Erik is pretty much as he always was. They are both quite good at kicking their litter around in the tanks. Even though they are brothers from the same litter, they have different personalities. I just love the little varmits. :D
