A ticket on a killer train. For just 11,90 euro you get the weirdest experience of a lifetime and two hours of boredom :(

Come again?

Ditto. This sounds intriguing!

Last sunday somebody jumped in front of the train I was in..
I still need to get a refund on the ticket.

TV stand for the HD...

in antique black :)

It's a wine day...

Couple of bottles of a lovely balanced classic Sancerre, and a bottle of a very ornate rosy Gewurtztraminer.

^ Yeah, it is. I mean, it's silly as hell. It's like a live-action version of Bugs Bunny (including the carrots). ;) But it is just sooo much fun. You should definitely check it out.

I bought a new wireless keyboard for my iMac, and Office 2008, again for the Mac. I also bought a bottle of Bombay Sapphire. Looking back on the day, it might have been a good idea to buy some food as well... :D

22" Widescreen Acer Monitor. :D :D :D :D :D

My dad got a terrific paycheck this week and told me I didn't need to pay their rent this month. So, off to Staples I went!

J.

I bought 3 bars of The Body Shop soap (satsuma, papaya and mango scent) and tea tree oil facial wash. =)

A new keyboard... nice ergonomic one with lots of buttons! My last one was 8-10 years old, so it was time! Now to replace the 10 year old mouse!!

Let's see... This week.
Thursday evening:
One 15 gallon aquarium tank for my gerbil, Erik. He lived up to his name and terrorized Michael so I've had to separate the two boys. I'm now calling him 'The Phantom of the Tanks'.
A Snak Shak log for Michael's tank and a 4 ounce water bottle for Erik's tank.
My boys have nearly identical tanks except for their food bowls and nest boxes.
They seem happy separate. Michael is like a different animal; much more relaxed now. I doubt I'll try to reintroduce them. That's a long, drawn-out process and sometimes doesn't work. I've researched the situatuation and found the boys can live happily as long as they get lots of attention and TLC. They were already getting that so no problem there! :D

Friday, groceries.

Thanks for the tip! I watched Shoot Em Up today. All those crappy "video game to movie" makers should watch this to see what a movie video game should be (I've no idea if it is an adaptation, just that it FEELS like a live action video game). Brilliantly funny, some awesome gunplay, Monica Belluci as a hooker, trading insults by shooting out letters of neon signs, and Paul Giamatti delivering some cracking lines.

"The leader who stays in the rear, takes it in the rear. Besides, violence is one of the most fun things to watch"

"You wascally wabbit"

And best of all, after Smith kills about 50 bad guys...

"My god. Do we really suck or is this guy really that good?"

I finally bought a Nintendo DS, and I picked up The New Super Mario Bros., which I have to say is the most Mario-like game I've played since Super Mario Bros. 3 on the NES.

They didn't have Zelda on the shelf, which is the game I was also after, and Mr. Useless Tit at Toys R Us didn't seem as concerned about that as I was, but I digress.

I'm quite impressed with the screen. When I got the Game Boy Advance, oh, 7-8 years ago, I was utterly disappointed: I couldn't see what was going on! I eventually picked up the Game Boy Player ad-on for the Gamecube, but I was still put off when it came to handhelds.

I'm glad you liked the movie. And yeah, it did feel like a movie adaptation of a video game (even though it's not). I really need to watch it again soon. Hell, I might do it tonight (if I won't be watching the NHL All Star game).
