Sweeeeeeeet ride and nice name. I definitely approve, cyph.

As for me, I just got some DVDs as a late Christmas/early birthday present for my brother.

She's so pretty. :-D

I approve of the car (if you paid cash).

My guess is his parents bought it. (Not that it's a bad thing if they did - I wish my mom would've got me that ride back in the day instead of a VW Rabbit!)

Negative.

Graduating at 20 and being hired as one of the youngest electrical engineers by an international company has given me opportunities to enjoy the harvest of my academic efforts...

Plus I'm biting the bullet since I'll be slaving for her for the next 5 years of my life. :-(

thanks!

she'd be perfect if it wasn't for the bose sound system... :-(

you know what they say:
No highs? No lows? Must be a bose!

This is where I would say you're a wise man, except that wouldn't be very wise of me...

Confucius would be proud of your wisdom!

Heard it before, and too true.

I have a 10 or 12 (can never remember) speaker BOSE surround sound system in my car and it's not as good as the 6 speaker setup I had in my old car. It cheats like f*ck - crank up the volume and the subwoofer pounds away to fool you into thinking that you're getting low-range notes and the treble becomes a bit tinny with high-speed wind noise. It's OK, to be fair, but not as good as it should be for the price. Fortunately since I got the car second-hand, I didn't actually pay anything extra for the system, but still, it's not as good as it should be.

Whatever - stop Googling Bose Car Stereo trying to sound impressive.

The sound system might be sub-par, but your mother loved the smooth ride. :D

Having owned Bose gear in the past, and now trying to forget I ever did own it, I had to laugh at the use of 'Bose' and 'impressive' in the same sentence.

(Never use Bose speakers for a surround system in your home theater. To say that Bose speakers suck would be an insult to sucking. That little 'Acoustimass' module isn't even a real subwoofer...)

^ Are you familiar with TEAC as a 5.1 home surround system? What do you think of it?

I've never owned any Teac gear. The last time I had a (decent, i.e. non-Bose) surround system, it was all Sony. Good equipment too; I only got rid of it because I bought a new TV and decided at the same time that I didn't need surround anymore.
