I forgot that earlier today I also bought a lovely forest green tie and a pair of orangey-yellow moc-style shoes (and some other clothes, though the other items are to sell on). Forgetting clothing purchases? I'm worried for my health....

My god man, get help! I have a forest green tie too, I love it. I was once told that wearing that with a light blue shirt and brown/grey lightly pinstripe trousers was a fashion no-no, and someone else said it was actually very good looking. Opinion?

You'll get some people who will blindly argue against combining green and blue (and against blue and black). I think it's much more case-by-case, personally. Chocolate brown, sky-blue and forest-green is a pretty cool colour combo in my book, esp. towards fall.

Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. I went to the release party event think last night for the fourth book having not read any of them and felt compelled to give the first one a read today. I'm 6 chapters in and it's great so far.

Not a purchase as such since they're free and you only need pay for shipping, but I received the samples I requested from Frederic Malle.

Eau d'Hiver is gorgeous, and when the sample runs out I will definitely get a bottle. Bigarade Concentree is also pretty damn good. However Angeliques sous la Pluie was underwhelming... and gave me a rash for an hour or so! Grr!

Picked up the soundtracks to Batman Begins (this particular copy has sat on the Fred Meyer shelf for three years and has been marked down several times) and The Dark Knight (the regular edition version--somehow the more expensive one has the same tracks, but a flimsier case--nothing like paying for subtracted value).
