I would've bought the Lost The Final Season soundtrack but Best Buy doesn't sell it in store and it's not at any Barnes and Nobel or Borders anywhere near me. Guess I'll have to order it online. I hate having to wait several days to get stuff by mail.

Not a purchase, but a wonderful gift. Well, two. :)

This Pandora double weaved leather bracelet:

And the very first charm (bead?) to go with it:

^:techman:

Bought birthday presents for my mom, and also starting looking for boots. I need a nice new pair of tall black dress boots. :)

^ I didn't realize they asked old people to do nude modeling at colleges.

I purchased the third season of The Big Bang Theory and some much needed groceries.

^ I didn't realize they asked old people to do nude modeling at colleges.

You know, one of those classes had two models. One was a cute and curvy twenty something woman, and the other was a guy in his 50's who wasn't present as often as the lady. Which was too bad, really, because he was more of a challenge to sketch, even if the girl was a whole lot nicer on my college-age male eyes.

Unfortunately, they definitely do. In my drawing classes in college, we had some of the oldest, fugliest nude models you could imagine.

I bought a new suit, some new Chucks, and a novel called "The Maze Runner" because facebook keeps telling me I'll like it.

I was making a joke... or least I was trying to make one. :rommie:

A couple of 18 x 24 poster frames for some old nude sketches I did in college.

I believe Ruaidhri was saying he bought frames for some nude sketches he had completed in the past, which would make them old. I was implying that the nudes were old instead of the sketches. I know. It was obscure and subtle. I will try harder next time.

(And being an artist... yeah I did my share of nude sketches. At my school they hired hippies from the commune down the road. Think saggy, crusty and unshaven and you might be about halfway there. *shudder* After a while I preferred boring still life sketching to sitting in a room filled with the pungent aroma of BO and hemp.)

Just spent about 65 bucks on groceries. Doesn't seem to make a difference what we buy; it always comes out to about 65 bucks.

The newly published non-fiction Destination:Moonbase Alpha book by Robert E. Wood on the behind the scenes making of the short-lived tv series Space:1999. Extremely thorough on the hard work of producing a tv series in the '70s UK.

^ Oh! I want it! *dashes off to Amazon*

I got it immediately - was funny too, not ROFL-funny, but pretty funny still...
Thank you for that. I was feeling a bit unsure of my funny there for a minute.

I actually got it too! I meant to put a  in there in reaction to your post but managed to omit it. I definitely wrote my original comment missing some punctuation.
