A plane ticket to San Diego for late September. We're sailing on a friend's boat out of San Diego up to Catalina Island and attending the jazz festival.

A DvD of Kick Ass and Clue. the latter was on sale for around 5 bucks.

 

I have a Best Buy gift card coming in the mail. If I get it by Saturday, I'll use it on Kick-Ass Blu-ray.

Time to get into Surfer/Boarder-Dude-Speak mode again.

 

Bought a bottle of The Balvenie doublewood 12 year old single malt whisky, nice addition to the ever growing stock of single malts we have hmm..

 

The phone in the original, with the sliding keyboard cover was a Nokia 8110

The phone in Reloaded with sliding earpiece was a prop, the Samsung SPH-N270 was made to look like it.



I remember this stuff because I wanted the original 8110, much like ever other fan of the movie, until I found out that the springloaded cover was a mod made by the prop people and the real phone didn't have the spring.
