Aviation geek that I am, I bought a book on militairy aviation in the Netherlands during World War 2.

A half pound of mint-swirl chocolate fudge, and a big bag of chocolate covered gummy bears. Lots of stuff on my mind today, and chocolate covered gummy bears makes almost everything better.

A new hockey jock. Everything I've been able to find has been long shorts with velcro tabs on the legs to hold the socks up with. They don't work well for me so when I found this, I ordered 2.

I was in need of more portable storage space, so I got me a bus-powered Seagate 500Gb 2.5" HDD.
This sleek, small, powerful beauty here:

^ Does it require an AC adapter? That's what I was trying to avoid when buying mine. The price for yours is really reasonable. :)

Yeah, but i wanted one with its own power supply though so this one worked out a treat, not aesthetically pleasing as yours but as long as it does the job.:)

We bought a new bed--since we have been living with the rickety metal frame that came with the mattress since before we were married---and also picked up matching bedside tables. The whole thing came to about 1500 bucks after taxes, delivery and 3 year warranty. It will arrive next Saturday!

Woot! We've been waiting for a proper bed for YEARS..but never could decide. I wanted a sleigh-style bed and he wanted a platform. I wanted a brown bed, and he wanted black. But our other furniture is medium brown with a touch a cherry--so we compromised and picked wood base that wraps all the way around (no sharp edges!) and the headboard has a little curve, almost like the sleigh style. It's a rich cherry with a hint of brown--a good compromise. I think it's a tiny bit redder in person than in the pictures.

This is the bed---er, minus the ugly-ass bedding, that is. Ours is a King size.

and here's the night-stand(s) we got to go with it:

What's the book called? I might need it for research for my novel.

My latest purchase was presents for our friends' daughters, we missed the youngest one's birthday and so bought stuff for both anyway. And a Rx for my wife. $45.
