Your latest purchases

Recently, I have purchased: a case for my iPod Touch, a case for my iPod Classic, a pair of jeans, a black cardi (I am wearing it right now, I love it a lot), a mini Rocky Road slab from Hotel Chocolat, two pairs of earrings and a game for my Nintendo DS. :D

I haven't been buying much beyond groceries.

I WANT to buy a microSD card for my cell phone, a wall charger for my iPod, and anything else that looks tasty at Costco. But that would require going out, so it ain't gonna happen this weekend. :D

^ No kiddin'... I haven't been buying much either. Ever feel like your house is your prison? lol. Actually, the last actual thing I purchased which isn't disposable or edible was that new Enterprise model... but that was some time in the middle of last month. Cash just hasn't been as plentiful as it used to be, which unfortunately means alot of time spent sitting at home watching TV shows.

After 3 years of trying, I finally found a copy of The Shining that I didn't have to special order. I can finally watch the movie on Halloween that I've been wanting to watch,

I went into the used DVD store not actually planning to buy, which is typical actually. However, they had the RAMBO 3 pack for $10 and the discs were in great shape so I got them. Watched the first two already.

The latest Children's Writers and Illustrator's Market. I finished my book -- at long, long last! Time to get it published.
Good luck! :)

I was tired of how slow my netbook was, so I got me a replacement: the Acer Aspire One D150.

The best part is the 6 cell battery, which grants me up to 7 hours of computing fun without the need for a wall socket. Take that, stingy Starbucks! :D

Congratulations. Now the hard part begins.
So I've heard. You'd think that the painstaking hours of writing and producing 28 11x14 full color illustrations (with the knowledge that an editor may want changes to any of them -- but hey, put your best foot forward!) would be the hard part! I read the Market on the train this morning -- fast reader -- and have just gone through all the agents. I don't know if I have a head enough for business to negotiate contracts and the like, so I'm leaning toward going through an agent. I may submit directly to some publishers too, though.

I just bought Michael Buble's latest CD, Crazy Love and the latest Star Trek Magazine. That was fun.

Then I got a copy of Literary Theory: An Introduction. That was less fun.

Ray Bradbury Theater - The Complete Series - all 65 episodes for $US14.99 (plus postage). I have looked at the first three episodes (The Crowd, Marionettes Inc, Banshee) so far.

My laptop is in a constant state of stupor, but it's for a good reason (sort of). I have Vista and only 1 gig of memory. Will be upgrading the memory as soon as I have some money.

I had my medical today, and needed two vaccinations. £250 down the pan. Grrr.

^I can beat that. My local Italian deli does a large tub of home-made tiramisu for £2. In traditional chocolate or lemon.

A slice of heaven in a tub let me tell you.
