Now I just need to find 2 white french cuff shirts with the right collar and fit and I'll be good to go. Maybe a new pair of cufflinks too.

Luckier than a colleague of mine, who just had to pay almost as much as his car cost him, in order to pass his MOT!

I bought nothing today; one of my new colleagues and I have developed a pleasant habit of skiving off work for a bit for coffee & brunch at a local cafe and it was her turn to pay today. I always appreciate it when someone else buys my food.

It's a pretty cheap car, so the equation was pretty neutral either way.


It was a day of inverse purchases today - presents/treats since it's my birthday, and I sold a pair of shoes on eBay that I hardly wear these days for way more that I expected.
