Groceries for this week. Wednesday I had to have a belt replaced on my car. I'm also in the process of getting the Redwall book series from Amazon. I've received 15 so far and have five to go. :D I get them through the used lists. I've bought lots of books that way.
 
went out to yard and estate sales..
got..
wooden parrot hand painted and already with wire to hang up.

toaster oven
broiler pan for toaster oven (this from a different sale)
three books for 30cents.. a tos greg cox book, a sequel to peter david king arthur novel and a starfleet corp of engineers book,

two thick fabric drapes,
a desk top easel, a fluffy bunny basket, summer cotton dress to wear around the house,
a stephen baxter book, a camera bag, thermal lunch bag, purse,
a rotating art supply holder with some art pens, kitchen knife and a ceramic bowl with wire attached so it can hung up.

all for about 34 dollars.
 
I bought a ring for myself (somebody has to do it, after all!), a pair of Birkenstocks (Medina) and two books: Coraline and a Discworld novel whose name escapes me for the moment. :)

I bought some additional aquarium decor for the new aquarium.
 
Just a single betta. He is very aggressive so I don't think he will be getting any tank mates. But he is beautiful and likes me for the most part so I don't mind it just being him.
 
One short sleeved shirt. The amount is quite depressing cause Aurian found shitloads of stuff the last couple of days.

Today I went home with two more shirt-tops and a green vest (jacket). Ontop of that I also got an icecream maker yesterday, but that should not count since it was a gift ;)

I've been pretty frugal on my purchases recently, but just ordered a few more shirts yesterday. I think they'll be the last for a while though, since I've now just about replaced all my old poorly-fitting ones with bespoke ones.
 
Went to a big outlet mall last week- got a terrific Guess? purse for $30 (originally $100) and this watch at the Fossil outlet:

I went to the Air and Space Museum in D.C. and got this little model:

For some reason, that old Eastern Airlines D-C 3 is one of my favorite exhibits...now I have one of my own. :p

Finally, I went to the new Wegman's grocery store. They have so much awesome stuff for the kitchen. I found this little piece of bakeware from Le Creuset. They're usually ridiculously expensive, but Wegman's has good prices on even the big pieces! I know where I'm doing some of my Christmas shopping.

New clothes, That I really need for when I go on holiday. I seriously had 2 pairs of shorts and 4 t-shirts.. Not good for 2 weeks :lol:
