Not a new buy, but I got Nokia to change my phone, since they literally trashed my old one when I brought it in at The Carphone Warehouse to change its malfunctioning loudspeaker. I gave them a pristine phone and they gave back to me something only worthy for a junkyard. Bah.

Thankfully the people at the Nokia Centre in Regent Street know me quite well by now (I've already bought three phones there... :angel: ), and they really treated me like a VIP. :)
 
The soundtracks to Millennium (Mark Snow) and Batman: The Animated Series (Shirley Walker and others).
 
Went and took advantage of the sales. 30% sale, yay! No point waiting for a 50%, all the decent colours and sizes are gone by then! I was desperately in need of warm sweaters, and casual trousers, as most of mine appeared to be jeans at the moment.

I bought 3 sweaters - navy blue, grey, and one with very thin blue and white nautical strips
2 chinos - chocolate brown and one navy blue

Now I need some of those slip on deck shoes to complete the preppy look :lol:, but I'm loath to spend more money. I had to beat my knuckles to part with £130 today :rommie:. Most of my clothes were worn and I needed an overhaul - have been biding my time for the sales.

That's me set up for a good while. I love the feel of Benetton wool. And they last forever, which is the main reason I went with them. And they're doing the youngest preppiest look I've seen them do. Very gratifying. :D

I still have and wear Benetton pieces I bought a longer while ago than I care to admit to. Unfortunately, there aren't as many stores around anymore. :(
 
^ I still have a Benetton wool sweater from at the very least 20 years ago. Talk about stuff made to last! :eek:

I got me a new hoodie yesterday, dark grey with white fluffy writing in the front. I just couldn't help myself. I have to stop buying hoodies! :borg:
 
^ And as of this morning I am done too!

I bought a collection of four mini-jars with the following jams at the Borough Christmas market for my aunt: whiskey and ripe Sevilla orange, pear and ginger, mint jelly, lavender jelly. All packed in a nice little bag. Halleluja! :D
