Young Justice-Tonight!

I meant the character not the actor . also love ghost in the shell one of my favorite anime series as is patlabor . mecha combat rules the battlefield.

currently reading tales of the slayer vol. 2 and star wars knights errant .
currently watching smallville season 4 & supernatural season 4 .

the girl with the mask was shiva right .

No, she was Cheshire. And apparently it was Kelly Hu doing her voice! No wonder she sounded familiar.

who were her team mates?

Unclear. Going from this article, I'd guess the guy with the hook-arm was Hook, the assassin who killed Boston Brand/Deadman in the comics. I don't know who the rest are. The spider-like one may have just been a Greg Weisman in-joke, since his previous show was The Spectacular Spider-Man.

Crispin also happens to be the brother of Cassidy Freeman of "Smallville".

Oh, I didn't know that. Interesting.

"Infiltrators". Finally we get, uh, this is Mia, right?

Nope. This is Artemis Crock, the daughter of Sportsmaster from the earlier episode with Kobra.

If you look behind the scenes, one of the producers Greg Weisman was the assistant editor at DC where the character was first created.

Who were the others? The extremely familiar spider-man? The dude with the hook hand? The cyclops eye blast guy? And who was the leader supposed to be?
Black Spider = Spiderguy
Hook (the person who originally killed Deadman) = Hook Hand
Professor Ojo = Eye Guy
Sensei (the old man in the Resurrection of Ra's Story) = Old Man

All of them are obscure villains from the 80s pre-crisis Batman stories. The same goes for Infinite Island.

While I am enjoying the show, what I don't understand...
If the Doctor is so important, and needs to be protected at all costs, why not take her to the headquarters? I'm sure the defenses there are better than a high school, and I'm sure they have a computer or two...

I wonder if Roy is going to knock up Cheshire?

Hey in the comics have Roy and Scandal met? How distantly are they related?

Young Justice is basically a version of the Teen Titans comic book with a few alterations here and there.

Yes, that was my original point.

Wonder Girl is supposed to be making an appearance soon.

I wonder why they didn't include her to begin with and instead went with Ms. Martian.

Good question. :) Not likely, unless they up the rating to PG or TV-14. In that case, I guess it would be okay to call Roy "Arsenal."

They're planning on adding characters as part of the series ongoing arc. Ms. Martain is someone who we haven't seen on TV yet and they wanted to use new characters that people aren't familiar with. I think Ms. Martian is a Geoff Johns creation too.

Just as long as they don't call her Drucilla.

That confused the hell out of me, as Cassie started using that identity when she was all incognito after her regular identity got burnt.

I was thinking about Caligula boffing his sister or Spike's batshit piece of fluff... Not Debra Winger.
