The 80s didn't end until 1993. Think about it, that's when the music changed and all the good 80s cartoons and TV shows were off the air to be replaced by mostly garbage.
That's only because the 70s didn't end until 1984.

TMNT live in concert. I still remember watching the TMNT live in concert and play their songs all the time. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teenage_Mutant_Ninja_Turtles#Concert_tour. TO this day I enjoy "COunt on Us" and "No Treaties".
