Whether in the first 3 movies from 1979 to 1984. You ever feel bad for those unknown crew members of the Enterprise ships where theyre minding their business casually walking around in the hallways. Then all of a sudden they get caught in the explosions in the hallways during the space fight battles.

They either get blown up or end up with severe burns/radiation burns

This straight up reminds me of the discussion in that scene from Clerks. :p

The answer's no, because they knew what they signed on for and what could potentially happen. They weren't just "working stiffs".

Um...no. Same goes for all movies and tv shows, where something happens....

Oh, and what's up with the spoilers tag?

There's a spinoff just waiting to happen. A miniseries. The Wrath of Khan played with elapsed time, so they could take that 2 hour chunk of time and meander for a 2-part maudlin and dopey event where we mope in General Hospital (In Space) using real time instead of elapsed time...

Naah. That'd be as creative as a Space 1999 reboot where we get the perspective of Earth people who see a boom on the moon before it disappears and now we're left with a limited run show involving no more of the following: cliche romantic interludes under the "moonlight" (a misnomer for visible, reflected sunlight based on relative angles between Earth, sun, and moon but wouldn't it be neat if the moon actually generated its own glow? Well, no...), tidal waves and the numerous benefits that come with it, tolerable temperature ranges, lengthy daylight hours, a healthy rotational spin (splat), food, ridiculous allegories involving cheese, and so on... but if it makes people feel better, with each passing year the moon increases its distance from Earth by about one 1.49"... quick, somebody get a big lasso... on the plus side, on average (it varies, of course) the distance is only a quarter million miles so it'll be rather a while before anyone notices the moon appearing to shrink, much less seeing oceans stop tidaling on the seashore where timmy the tunshell tinkles...

Now the poor sods in the Executor as it fell towards the Death Star? I can’t imagine
You just made me think, what about the innocent animals inhabiting the forest on Starkiller? They weren't responsible for what the First Order was doing there, but they still paid for it with their lives.

I found the death of the crew man who got sucked out of the Kelvin a little bit shocking. Because you can hear her scream and hold on to a bulkhead for a couple of seconds, and the see her float into space

She's fine. Just caught a little bit of a chill, that's all.

What about all the birds and wildlife living in the forests on Veridian III and Altamid? Living their lives, maybe they had children. Then they look up one day and see a giant saucer section coming their way...

Nah simply because they signed up for the job knowing what to expect. I will say, however, I do feel bad anytime I see a red-shirt join the away team. I just know they gonna die!

How about all their relatives, who almost got to live forever in the Nexus, if only Picard hadn't changed history?

Feel bad a bit , but in general not really. Ur in space w
Now conscripts / draftees .. Then yeah .. Abit.

It's all about the context. Remember "Avatar"? The protagonist, in helping the blue skinned guys kick humanity off Pandora, sentence hundreds of millions, maybe billions, of people on Earth to death. But he's still considered to be a hero. Hmmmmm?

I think Avatar was supposed to be the first part of a multi-movie epic franchise. The fallout from Avatar 1 was/is? going to be explored in future movies.
