C-3DO?
Agreed!a Star Wars fan with his name being Yoda telling George Lucas to go away is amusing to me.![]()
The article says that each conversion will take "at least a year," and that's the timeframe that James Cameron has cited as being necessary for a good conversion.I'd be interested, but only if they do it *right*. When talking about the quality of the 3D, the track record for movies converted after the fact isn't too good. I certainly wouldn't want to see a 3D Star Wars where Luke looks like a cardboard cutout.
Yeah...Lucas needs money so badly, he was able to donate half of his fortune to charity just recently. Poor guy, must be tough for him these days.Considering it's only gonna be a year behind the blu-ray release I'd say it's safe to say Lucas needs some money.

I'd see the original trilogy-- I just want to see those films in theaters, even if it is in 3-D!
That's why he needs the money!Yeah...Lucas needs money so badly, he was able to donate half of his fortune to charity just recently. Poor guy, must be tough for him these days.
Moi neither. But the kids might be able to power it through...I just don't see a lot of people -- even though I will be one of those people -- clamoring to get in on TPM for their Star Wars fix.
Disagree. In its hilarious badness, it's not as dull as TPM, not as offensive to the overall canon as ROTS, and:I'm still going to be hard-pressed to drag myself to see AOTC. It's by far the weakest of the six, especially when it comes to repeat viewings.

Are you joking, or is there something else that I missed? Lucas gave half his money to charity? Come on, NOBODY does that.
Let's see... so TPM in 2012, the others released each year after that...
Alright, I'll see you in the theater in 2015 for ANH.

Yep, pretty much.
Although by then I'll have my Blu-Rays, so I may not even bother.
Check. And mate.and:
