Yeoman Tamura & Guest Stars You Would've Liked to Have Returned

I always wondered why Lt. Garrovick conveniently appeared in an episode in which they just happened to come across the same creature that killed his father, when it attacked the USS Farragut. What a co-incidence. :wtf:

As for a returning character....does it really need to be said?

+1. :bolian:

I'm definitely with you on Helen my friend!
She was absolutely gorgeous!
JB

I totally agree! I vote for Helen.
Even her shadow is sexy.
Would that be a Freudian placement of the tricorder?

Dr. M'Benga. Two appearances, but he too seemed to have personality which went beyond the part. Seemed like a good guy.

Supposedly, Roddenberry pitched a M'Benga spinoff. He may have been created with that in mind.

More than once at conventions, I heard DeForest Kelley joke that M'Benga would show up when it was time for his contract negotiations.

 I love stories about De Kelley. Man was so genuine.

I've always thought M'Benga could have been a full cast member. A great actor with good character personality.

(and unrelated to the question, but does anyone know what that weird picture on the wall is supposed to be? :wtf: )

I thought of another character that would've been cool to see again:

Commodore Mendez. I thought Malachi Throne did an excellent job of bringing the character's humanity shine through and making him a character beyond that of a traditional paper-pusher, bureaucrat.

Captain Terrell (though technically from the movies)

I wouldn't mind reboot versions of those two characters in the nuUniverse.

Yeah.

I really liked Throne and Winfield in those two roles. Too bad they only got to play those characters once.

I can't remember: Does Captain Terrell have any cool deleted scenes in the DVDs or BR's?
