I like to look at the critics reviews just to get an idea of what to expect, but I've learned not to take them to serious.
Roger Ebert used to be able to do this before his writing got bad, but his earlier reviews could tell you whether you'd like the movie or not regardless of what his opinion of the movie was.
Now days, the same people who use reviews to validate their hatred of Batman v. Superman also tell you that critics are meaningless because Star Trek Into Darkness is certified fresh.
