I actually applauded him when that happened! :lol:

I still thought that Cena might find a way back in, given that there was still a lot of time remaining until the PPV ended. But we saw that time was being saved for the angle.
 
^ I was expecting John L to come out to help him and I was gonna groan...but the finish we got was even better! I like the fact that the Miz Truth are kind of UBER freaking heels now. I would disagree with timothy that the PPV was fantastic. I'd give it two stars out of five. The main event was pretty boring and no real drama until the end of the match. I ignored the rest of the matches...Henry/Orton was predictable.
 
I love how Cody Rhodes has started using a design based upon (because it's obviously a replica, hence the WWE logos) the early 1990's (the cover changed from white to black Intercontinental Championship belt.

It's a nice touch and will no doubt help Cody's character development. I wonder though, if this was the big pay off for the fans complaining about the WWE Championship belt? Perhaps this was WWE's way of saying "No we won't change the WWE Championship belt because it makes too much money, but we'll change one of the other title belts with a classic design in mind as a consolation prize"?

^ The Miz is my favourite heel ya...and Admrial M I have no idea why they won't change the design on the WWE Title. It's kind of strange.
 
They had an ideal opportunity to do so when Punk was champion. All they had to do was have Punk unveil a new design and claim that "the current title represents John Cena's status as the top guy and that it stays, even when he isn't champion to remind everyone that they aren't Cena" and then he would discard the original when he won the undisputed championship match. You would then have Del Rio run in and win the title from Punk, taking the new belt and so on, and forth.

If you are wrong about the nWo coming back, you will have to bare the shame that comes with making a failed prediction! If you are right, you'll get bragging rights (and I have a horrible feeling you could be! :lol:)

That's one of the reasons I'm not predicting, so instead I speculate. ;)

heah I have been wanting a new wwe belt for the longest time. I was hopeing when cm punk came back and they did the hole uniyfied thing we would get a new belt. i really hate that thing it's ugly as sin. hell the Tna <(impact wrestlling championship) is better than that.
 
The worst belt I've seen from the WWE has got to be the awful Cruiserweight Championship. It just looked plain and unimportant (which was pretty much the consensus amongst the booking team anyway), even the Hardcore Championship looked more visually appealing!
 
Okay I couldn't help myself...but I marked out for the end of Botchamania 184 and Maffew's brilliant use of Jesus Christ Superstar which is probably one of my favorite musical themes. Plus the Super Cena thing is awesome, and the Cornette Face Fraiser stuff. Basically just skip to about the 9 minute mark.

Not a terrible PPV last night, but it was hard to get away from the idea that WWE was just spinning the wheels for Survivor Series. Most of the matches were pretty good though.

I've gotta get my wrestling news from somewhere besides LordsofPain. Even the headlines for that Tito cat's columns make me sleepy and annoyed. I can't even read them anymore. The guy is an average writer with the mind of a five-year-old sociopath.
 
best moment in HITC was were the miz and R-truth got arrested.
best match in HITC was Cody Rohdes.

looking forward to it when it comes to dvd or blu ray.
 
yep it's gona be good. And I am currious who wants to run his mouth first wrestler wise, but most likely it'll be tripple HHH.
 
well I was wrong we went right into action no half hour monolouge bull.


well it looks like I get to go to smackdown next week. yeah!!!
