wwe vs tnt anyone watching?

Most fans would already say the titles don't matter any more. As I've brought up before there have been reports that Vince calls them props and makes everyone refer to them as such. I know for me personally I don't think much of the titles. They're just part of a characters story line and the pay off. It's been that way for a while now frankly.

Here's the cover and the official description of the WWE Greatest Rivalries: Shawn Vs Bret DVD coming out next month. The covert art sucks but is understandable, 540 minutes!!! I'm so getting this.

^ Wow that cover art does suck. Did WWE fire all their creative people? Dont they have some interns who know how to use Photoshop and Indesign? 30 seconds on google and I have better cover ideas than that.

I kinda like it, it's classical and has some grit to it, which is a welcome change from the "kid friendly" designs we get nowadays to attract kids to the range of PG-rated, WWE PPV DVD releases.

It's funny that over here in the UK, the DVD releases still recieve a 15 certificate because the BBFC considers wrestling "strong sporting violence" (in league with sports like Boxing and MMA, apparently). I think the only exception to this rating was Wrestlemania 27, which recieved a 12 Rating (likely due to the cuts that WWE made, such as some of the more violent bits of the Undertaker VS Triple H match, like the chairshot to the head).

I don't really care about Sin Cara either at this point. Still waiting for him (talking about the original Mystico) to round out into form and adjust already.

I just have no interest in spot machines anymore. It's all very dull to me.

The cover art for the Shawn/Bret DVD can be dammed. I just want to see the sit down with J.R.

"He's created chaos throughout the entire WWE. He's an idiot (and) he doesn't deserve to be COO. He married into the family and that's the reason why he is COO. And now he's being a hypocrite firing people for things he's done in the past and firing main eventers that he considers main eventers and then not only that, losing out on $250,000. He doesn't even know how to add! He doesn't even know how to add. I'm sick of him. I'm sick of talking about Triple H and his stupid ways in the WWE."

"Triple H fires us for "savagely attacking a WWE official" I wonder if Triple H ever put his hands on a WWE Official. Let's see.. #Hypocrite"

"Triple H vs Stone Cold No Mercy 1999 Triple H pushes ref. #hypocrite Triple H vs Y2J April 2000 Triple H beats up n pedigrees ref #hypocrite"

"And my favorite Triple H vs Kevin Nash Judgement Day 2003 Triple H "Savagely" hits ref with a SLEDGEHAMMER. Just to name a few. #hypocrite"

I hope they have something big planned for these The Miz & R-Truth...if ends up how CM Punk's situation I will be disappointed...they really wasted something that was set up so good with him...I also would like to see The Miz with the WWE title again and R-Truth with the US Title...or both with the Tag titles. :shurg:

Yeah I agree. I hate when WWE prolongs storylines and makes them all complicated! :) I wouldn't be shocked if Vince comes back and fires Triple H.

I'm wondering why Zack Ryder has stopped using his "Zack Attack" finisher in favour of the "Rough Ryder". The "Zack Attack" looks like it could really hurt and it hasn't been dropped for practical reasons, because it doesn't require any lifting (which could be a problem against the super heavyweights). The "Rough Ryder" OTOH is a simple running leg lariat which has never been associated with finishing moves.

I think the reasons could be due to WWE wanting Ryder to appear "lucky" in the ring, rather than competitive and by switching his finisher from something lethal looking to a simpler move, helps create this image.

Looks like the rumors of Vince not being happy with the CM Punk angle because it didn't have an immediate impact on ratings weren't true. I didn't think the WWE would continue these shoot angles beyond Punk's character. Miz and Truth are the perfect characters to continue it.

He should be disappointed with it's reception and performance because it's been kind of dull and all over the place since Money in the Bank which was really it's peak.

I am loving heel beast Mark Henry!!! They should have done this years ago! Instead of stupid story line after story line.

Gail Kim is officially done with the WWE now.

Here are my Hell in a Cell predictions:

John Cena (c) Vs CM Punk Vs Alberto Del Rio Triple Threat Match for WWE Title

Winner: John Cena

I am picking Cena to retain the title for now. WWE. com and the announcers have been pushing him too heavily "in-universe" and despite the upcoming Mexico tour that isn't enough to convince me that Del Rio will be capturing his second WWE Title in less than two months. Punk they've basically ignored and are going to milk his story line until it's resolution, whenever that is so I dont' see him winning. In fact I'd be shocked if Punk won. Cena just regained the title...if he drops it again, it won't be until Vengeance. I think he'll have it through Survivor Series, especially since The Rock will be there.

Mark Henry (c) Vs Randy Orton (World Heavyweight Championship)

Winner: Mark Henry. It makes no sense to bury Henry this quickly and have him drop the belt after building him up a monster beast heel. I know I was originally dismissive of someone's suggestion that Undertaker would be a huge opponent for Henry but I can honestly see this happening now. I also think there will be some kind of interference in this match. Maybe from Cody Rhodes.

Christian Vs Sheamus (singles match

Winner: Sheamus. Christian's One More Match gimmick is becoming boring, and Sheamus as a face is rising. I think they're priming Sheamus for another run at the World Title soon. One way to do that is to knock off one of Smackdown's top heels.

Kelly Kelly (c) Vs Beth Phoenix:

Winner: I'm gonna have to say Kelly Kelly. I've picked Beth to finally win back the Divas Title only to be proven wrong. I have no idea what creative is planning for Beth and Natalya but unless Beth does win tomorrow night this is going to become boring.

Also I hope there is some kind of plot development with the Punk/Corporate story line because it's becoming confusing and boring now. They need to start paying this off soon or they're going to lose viewers, including me.

Here are some fictional odds that I've calculated (based on pro-wrestling, and not traditional probability ;) ) on who the Undertaker will face at Wrestlemania 28.

2/1: Kane
4/1: Triple H
4/1: Mark Henry
6/1: CM Punk
6/1: Alberto Del Rio
8/1: Sheamus
8/1: Ezekiel Jackson
9/1: Wade Barrett
10/1: Chris Jericho
10/1: The Miz
16/1: Randy Orton
16/1: Mick Foley
20/1: Kevin Nash
20/1: Vince McMahon
20/1: Shawn Michaels
30/1: "Stone Cold" Steve Austin
50/1: Hulk Hogan
50/1: Ric Flair
100/1: John Cena (should The Rock be unable to compete)
100/1: The Rock (should John Cena be unable to compete)
500/1 John Cena and The Rock in a Triple Threat match.
1000/1: "Fake" Undertaker

That's really a shame. So much wasted talent. She could and probably should have been the face of the Divas division, and they hand it to Kelly Kelly.

Here are my Hell in a Cell predictions:

John Cena (c) Vs CM Punk Vs Alberto Del Rio Triple Threat Match for WWE Title

Winner: John Cena

I really want to see the title back on CM Punk, but I have to agree with your reasoning. Plus, (and I can't believe I'm saying this) I'd rather see Cena retain rather than see him lose and then regain the title a few more times before Wrestlemania. If he surpasses Flair's championship record I might seriously drop wrestling.

Mark Henry (c) Vs Randy Orton (World Heavyweight Championship)

Winner: Mark Henry.

I want to agree with you, but the cynic in me says they'll put the belt back on Orton since he sells more tickets than Mark Henry.

Christian Vs Sheamus (singles match

Winner: Sheamus.

Yeah, they've been selling Sheamus too much as the dominant monster face as of late. Although I think it's been a while since Christian won a ppv match.

Kelly Kelly (c) Vs Beth Phoenix:

Winner: I'm gonna have to say Kelly Kelly.

I think this is Beth Phoenix's time to shine. When she's lost to Kelly Kelly, its been on fluke roll ups and the like. Time to change that.

Also I hope there is some kind of plot development with the Punk/Corporate story line because it's becoming confusing and boring now. They need to start paying this off soon or they're going to lose viewers, including me.

Agreed.

in the tripple threat I am going to give it to Cm punk coming out the winner.
Mark Henry will retain his championship.<(I think mark will retain his title through wrestlemania)
shaemus will beat christian.
Beth Pheonix will win the diva champion ship this time.
okay those are my predictions for hell in the cell.

I think were still missing some matches though. smackdown was awesome last night.

My predictions...

John Cena (c) VS Alberto Del Rio VS CM Punk
Randy Orton VS Mark Henry (c)
Kelly Kelly (c) VS Beth Phoenix - New Diva's Champion
Sheamus VS Christian
Sin Cara (Blue) VS Sin Cara (Black)

I'm not liking this new tendency for WWE to advertise only five matches, with the intention to have a couple more at the PPV. Inevitably, this intention is nothing more than an intention and the PPV is filled with pointless filler with at least one or two of the five matches being less than ten minutes (sometimes five) long.

I've noticed that WWE are sneaking in short commercials between matches too. There is something wrong with doing that on PPV. The entire event is sponsored by various companies, surely that's enough when you consider how much arena promotion is going on? But no, it seems that airtime must be given away too.

Look for Miz & R-Truth to crash HiaC...like they have been crashing live events this past week or so. :)

I am going with Del Rio, Henry, Kelly Kelly, Sheamus & don't care about Sin Cara.

[edit] I wouldn't be surprised if Cena won...but I don't see CM Punk winning.
