wwe vs tnt anyone watching?

In Punk's logic here, should Cena get a rematch after losing to CM Punk twice? Would Punk really push for Cena getting said rematch?

No he wouldn't be trying to get him a rematch, he'd be trying to get his suspension lifted. In the storyline, Cena threatening to quit persuaded Vince to bring Punk back. In this new context, Punk would threaten something different in order to get Triple H to reinstate Cena (since Punk is playing the anti-hero face, he'd feel that he owes Cena one).

Obviously there would be delays and it would culminate in Triple H wanting to face CM Punk for the WWE Championship. Punk would agree to put the belt on the line, in exchange for Cena's suspension being lifed. However it wouldn't necessarily be a fight for Cena, it would be more a fight for free speech in the WWE.

It would be a complicated but interesting recurring angle. If I was in charge of booking I'd try and create a relationship similar to Magneto and Xavier with Punk and Cena. They would be opposites, but have a level of respect for each other. Both would be faces as a rule, but relative to their characters (Cena remaining popular with his usual fanbase). I could see long term plans for it, with CM Punk battling Triple H whilst Cena feuds with someone like Alberto Del Rio and it coming down to a match at Survivor Series. Which would be as follows...

Team Punk
CM Punk
John Cena
Rey Mysterio
Alex Riley
Zack Ryder (for shits and giggles, just because of the mentions from Punk and Triple H)

Team Triple H
Triple H
Alberto Del Rio
The Miz
Jack Swagger
R Truth

All in all, I reckon if Steve Austin is healthy enough and willing to compete at Wrestlemania 28, he will do so in a match against CM Punk. That would have the potential to create an ultra card, with a massive main event (Undertaker's Streak Match, Punk vs Austin, WWE Championship Match, World Heavyweight Championship Match and Cena vs Rock)

^ You gotta update your X-Men knowledge dude, Erik and Charles are friends now and on the same team. Schism is currently creating a division between Logan and Scott. Those teams would be interesting for a Survivor Series match up. Be fascinating to see Punk work with all faces, and Trips (who is supposed to be a face but in a heel role I guess) work with all the heels lol.

Yeah, I'm more a DC guy. I was just going with what I've observed from the series!

But yes, I think there is a feud potential between Punk and Triple H. And it would be great to have that contrast between Cena and Punk as a recurring angle. Two opposites who don't exactly like each other, but reluctantly respect each other.

for raw we would have two teams:

TEAM PUNK:

  • CM PUNK
  • ALBERTO DEL RIO
  • R-TRUTH
  • THE MIZ
  • MARK HENRY

TEAM CENA:

  • JOHN CENA
  • JOHN MORISON
  • ALEX RYILE
  • REY MYSTERIO

I know the teams are uneven the is just a ruff draft.
I am all ready thinkging of a two smackdown teams.

The only wrench that I'd put in your proposal Captain M is that I really don't get the feeling that Trips really wants to wrestle right now.

Timothy why do you have Punk with all the heels? He's not a traditional heel.

for team leader on smackdown it would either go:

team christian and team orton or team bryan vs team rhodes which I think would be a better but they usually take the wwe champion and who he's fueding with.

Actually Team Punk would be...

Colt Cabana
Dave Batista
Brock Lesnar

...who else has CM Punk been name dropping that aren't currently part of WWE? :p

that would be nice if they were part of the roster.

how many think that kurt angle will join imortal and rename the main event maffia?

Yeah, its looking that way. But if there is a need for him to get back in the ring, he's mentioned being ready to go whenever he's needed. I suppose if the feud was to really take off, then he might step back into the ring and wrestle Punk.

if triple hhh gets back in the ring it would be one last chance at undertaker for his streak. now here;s a question who more anoying cookie or vickie?

I don't think Triple H vs Undertaker Part 3 will actually go ahead. It would be a tremendous mistake on WWE's part.

As for Vickie and Cookie, I don't find either annoying, they both portray characters on television. Vickie is obviously considerably more talented than Cookie. The only person I find slightly annoying in wrestling is The Miz, but that is because he is meant to come across as such as part of his gimmick.

I think Trips and Undertaker at WM was just a one time thing...the fact that they "retconned" their first match as not happening makes me think they're not gonna do it again. It was really a spur of the moment thing to fill in the non-signing of Sting.

Initially Taker wanted to face Wade Barrett to create some continunity, but it was quickly decided that the Corre would be the focus for Barrett. They then began to gauge interest in Sting following the speculation from fans. They reached out to him with a generous offer, but it fell apart because Sting doesn't trust WWE with his character (despite that he's willing to imitate The Joker in TNA).

So Triple H came in and filled that spot.

An interesting article...

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...-impact-could-the-miz-have-this-coming-sunday

The Miz went off in an exclusive WWE.com interview where he says he will make a huge impact at Summerslam.
If he wanted to make a huge splash by fighting in a match, I think one idea(which many will disagree with) is having him go one on one with Alberto Del Rio for the Money in the Bank Briefcase. I'm sure no one would see it coming.
I agree with this. ;)

I predicted that earlier...They stole my idea!

You did? :guffaw: AWESOME!

Observe...I don't even read the Bleacher Report...

Who can The Miz possibly face at this juncture? All the big stars have prior engagements and putting him against somebody random will do neither for either man. I think Miz needs a character tweak. He needs to do something unexpected, like challenging Alberto Del Rio for the MITB case at Summerslam.
