wwe vs tnt anyone watching?

Supposedly Sin Cara isn't the same as before...the original is Mistico is gone and Hunico is Sin Cara now...

From Wrestling Observer...
Super Luchas is reporting that Mistico has left WWE and Hunico was told he would be working as Sin Cara at the WWE Mexico tapings in October.

Sources are claiming two different stories. One, that Hunico will play Sin Cara until the original Cara can return and then they will feud. The other is that Mistico is not being brought back after all and Hunico will remain as Sin Cara.

There are people within WWE, and that work with WWE on promotions, that are waiting for a final word from company officials on the future of the Sin Cara character going forward. They are worried that the new person playing Sin Cara will be pushed and not get over like Mistico. If they merchandise him for big plans down the line, it could turn out that they have backed a dud.

Within Mexico, people are worried that fans will see the new Sin Cara as a fraud. Many of WWE’s licensees saw huge money in Sin Cara merchandise aimed at the Mexican market.

I think Sin Cara is a cool name...so who ever they get to be "Sin Cara" they need someone who fits WWE's style.

I wouldn't put too much investment in what Super Luchas is saying. Despite it not being publically addressed, I'm under the impression many people were bitter that Mistico left to join the WWE. As one of the biggest draws in the World, Mistico brought huge business to CMLL and Lucha Libre in general.

I'm pretty sure they are using Hunico as Sin Cara in order to keep the character in an on screen role until the real Sin Cara returns from his suspension. They've done similar things in other promotions. In TNA, both Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian portrayed the masked Suicide at different times.

that was deffintivelly not sin cara tonight. all so cody rhodes is now the intercontinental champion. smackdown is heating up tonight and I am so looking forward to summerslam.

Here are my predictions for tonight's Summerslam card...

Wade Barrett vs Daniel Bryan
Sheamus vs Mark Henry
Kelly Kelly vs Beth Phoenix (New Divas Champion)
Christian vs Randy Orton
John Cena vs CM Punk (Punk becomes "Undisputed" WWE Champion)

The card does seem a little short on matches, for that reason I am going to predict the following additions.

Dolph Ziggler vs Alex Riley (New United States Champion)
The Miz vs Alberto Del Rio vs Rey Mysterio (if Mysterio is able to work)
Cody Rhodes vs Ezekiel Jackson

looking forward to tonight summerslam is going to be awesome. and I hoping it'll be greater than money in the bank.

Well that was an awful card, with only two great matches (Christian vs Orton and Cena vs Punk). For a big 4 show, it was almost as underwhelming as Wrestlemania!

As soon as Kevin Nash hit the ring, I just knew Del Rio would come out and cash in. This coupled with the screwy finish (Cena's foot on the ropes) is very dangerous for Punk and here is hoping that WWE are able to keep his momentum going. I'm pretty sure Nash laying out Punk will be revealed to have been something concoted by Triple H and Nash and will result in a feud between Punk and Triple H.

I don't think Alberto Del Rio will have a very long title reign. It's being done at this juncture in order to capitalise on WWE's upcoming Mexican tour. Ideally, Del Rio's opponent should be Rey Mysterio as they are both huge names in Mexico. However, this is fully dependant on Rey being 100% with his knees.

It seems that the Spinner Championship is here to stay, as when Punk was declared the winner, he was presented with just one of the belts. Likewise, when Del Rio cashed in he was presented with only one of the belts as well.

ALBERTO DEL RIO destiny has come true omg.
:scream::scream::scream::scream::scream::scream:
Omg that has to be the most fubar ending I have ever seen in wwe ppv.

The outcome of the match was done to keep both Cena and Punk strong. With Punk winning, albeit in a tainted way, it keeps Cena strong with the whole "I was never pinned". With Punk being laid out by Kevin Nash and Alberto Del Rio taking advantage, it allows the Championship to shift, without hurting Punk. It also gives them an opportunity to progress the feud between Punk and Triple H.

I'm pretty sure in the next few weeks that Nash will reveal he was acting together with Triple H and it was all part of a plan. If Punk beat Cena, then Nash would come down and lay out Punk, giving Del Rio an opportunity to cash in and Triple H to get the WWE Championship off Punk. At the same time it gives John Cena a reason to have a beef with Triple H and keeps both Cena and Punk as faces.

kevin and cm punk has a fued from his days over at tna. I am surprised that they are bringing that over to the wwe. stephenie looked hot tonight. I was pissed over the kelly, kelly match and the wade barrett match but over all a good ppv.

Well that was an interesting PPV. The Kevin Nash thing came out of no where...and Del Rio cashed in his Briefcase. Raw is gonna be interesting tomorrow night.

Just had a quick look at the finish of the main event and I thought Trips did a really great job of selling that he had no idea what the hell was going on lol. I think when they show Kevin going into the crowd you can see Trips mouth "What the fuck?". Great sell. I don't think anyone saw that finish or this being added to the story line!

And you can already book your triple threat title match for Night of Champions. Del Rio vs Punk vs Cena. Also rematches of Sheamus/Henry, and possibly even Orton/Christian. All were super strong and worked well in the ring together. Solid PPV top to bottom even the womans match was awesome last night.

the main event will turn into a fatal four way. and I can see the fued build betweeb bethphoenix and kelly, kelly. the kevin nash thing was complete awesomeness in that regard. I am so surprised that the miz did'nt do anything spectacular in summerslam..

John Cena has accumulated 11 title reigns (9 WWE, 2 WHC) in the 9 years he has been a part of the main WWE roster. Compare that to the others with several title reigns...

Triple H: WWE (8) WHC (5) - WWE employee for 16 years
Edge: WWE (4) WHC (7) - WWE employee for 13 years
Randy Orton: WWE (6) WHC (3) - WWE employee for 9 years
The Undertaker: WWE (4) WHC (3) - WWE employee for 21 years

It is very possible that Cena could surpass Triple H's record before he reaches 10 years with the company. Despite ADR winning the title last night and CM Punk still being as hot as ever, I'm still thinking Cena will be the one to win the title from ADR when he is eventually booked to lose it.
