wwe vs tnt anyone watching?

If you like pro wrestling statistics, then what I'm linking here is absolute gold! Its one of the most useful resources to have and details win/loss records, current champions, match ratings, PWI ratings and awards and even match lengths!

Its one of my favourite websites and for example of its usefulness (perhaps uselessness!), right away I can tell you that the Ultimate Warrior has the highest win percentage of any wrestler (83%).

1. Codebreaker (Chris Jericho)
2. Sharpshooter (Bret Hart, Sting, Chris Benoit)
3. Lebell Lock (Daniel Bryan Danielson)
4. Liontamer (Chris Jericho)
5. Go To Sleep (CM Punk)
6. Crippler Crossface (Chris Beniot, Triple H, Shawn Michaels)
7. Walls of Jericho (Chris Jericho, Kelly Kelly)
8. Shooting Star Press (Evan Bourne, Billy Kidmann, Hayabusa)
9. Rock Bottom (The Rock)
10. Sweet Chin Music (Shawn Michaels)

Chris Benoit used the Sharpshoot as a finisher? I know of only a couple of times that he used it, I think the most clear time was during the Owen Hart tribute match against Bret Hart and he might have used it against Booker T in their famous best of Seven matches. I never considered it a finisher of his. Crippler Crossface following The Flying Headbutt!!!

Benoit used the Sharpshooter to submit Shawn Michaels at Backlash in 2004 iirc. You're right, if anything it was a fallback finisher for him (like Chris Jericho and the Skull Crushing Finale-- I mean the Breakdown), but I'll still count it.

I am looking forward to tonight and see if rey will want his rematch. and to see what happens between cm punk and john cena.

In the case of Benoit using the Sharpshooter, yes Satyrquaze got it. Benoit started using the Sharpshooter as a secondary finisher in 2004. At Backlash he used it to submit Michaels in the triple threat rematch. From there on out, Benoit would use it sparingly to finish matches, occasionly using it as a counter to create a submission threat. In Benoit's last match against Elijah Burke, he used the Sharpshooter to get the win.

I have mixed feelings about Benoit, obviously he killed his wife and young son and then committed suicide. Despite that I cannot deny his contributions to the wrestling industry. This was a guy completely dedicated to his craft and according to many sources, one of those guys who was completely focused on helping the other guys get over in matches. I hate to say this but until Benoit's demise, he was my favourite wrestler, he really put 100% into his matches. I still watch Benoit's matches from time to time but no matter what, he won't be remembered for his ability. I loathe what Benoit did and even though no one can be sure of the circumstances, he still murdered his family and avoided justice by taking the easy way out. As a wrestling fan, it was one of the hardest things for me to get my head round.

Benoit never had a less than good match on any given night. He was treated as something of a prodigy during his career beginnings in NJPW. In 1990 he was given the honour of beating Jushin Liger to become the NJPW Junior Heavyweight Champion. In 1994, Benoit as "Wild Pegasus" became the first winner (and only Gaijin to date) to win the prestigious Super J Cup. If you are wondering what those two accomplishments means, they mean that NJPW showed a tremendous amount of confidence in not just a rookie, but a Gaijin (foreign wrestler). Benoit was also one of the few foreign wrestlers to survive the extremely gruelling New Japan Dojo. Following a short but acclaimed run in ECW, Benoit was signed to a contract with WCW. Recognised by the likes of Ric Flair and Arn Anderson for his ability, they requested he was made a member of the Four Horsemen stable (still considered an honour at the time). Benoit's run in WCW resulted in stellar matches with everyone from Bret Hart to Scott Steiner to Booker T and even Sid Vicious (whom he defeated for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship, although this wasn't always recognised due to the events that resulted in the departure of Benoit, Guerrero, Saturn and Malenko).

Benoit's career in the WWE will be remembered for two things. The first of which was his ability to get over with the WWE fanbase on his wrestling ability alone (Benoit's mic skills were limited compared to the likes of The Rock and Steve Austin for example). The second of which is Wrestlemania 20 where he beat Triple H and Shawn Michaels in a triple threat match to finally capture a World Championship (without controversy) and no less in the main event of the biggest wrestling event of the year. It finally cemented his status as one of the greatest of all time and for Benoit it was finally recognition for all he had given to the wrestling industry over the years. His emotion that night was real and its always one of the most poignant images to see him and Eddie Guerrero standing in the ring with both World Championships celebrating the peak of their decades long journey to the top of their game.

I Miss him and eddie both were fantastic wrestlers. on of there best moments was when mic foley brought them on raw for the first time. and there greatest was wm20.

Yeah, Benoit was probably my second favorite wrestler behind Jericho for a long time. I'm not afraid to admit that while watching WM20, I teared up a little bit when Triple H finally tapped out to the Crossface.

Sadly, Benoit will remembered as the guy who murdered his wife and son and then killed himself, nearly destroying professional wrestling in the process. I personally try to remember the guy who regularly stole the show along with Jericho at the start of a show. The guy who a lot of guys these days still model their workrate after.

If not for the last days of his life, he would have gone down in history as one of the best workers ever.

OMG beth is back to being a hell yes. and RAw opening fantastic.
John Cena vs Cm Punk for the undisputed wwe champion @ summerslam. this will be another great match.

I missed Raw, was sleeping after helping my parents all afternoon. Also it's Botchamania 181 that everyone is waiting for timothy. 180 has been online since late May i think.

my bad I'll watch 181 later today but RAW was awesome agin.
and the miz is listning to R-truth.

well it looks like there going to build a story arc around Cm punk and Triple HHH for a match that might happen at survivor series. oh and I got to see that belt that the long island iced tea made.

What gave you the impression that HHH would be involved in match? I still haven't seen Raw yet so I'm merely asking? Was there something said in a promo that he cut?

I think timothy is basing that erroneous information around the fact that Triple H said he personally didn't like Punk. Course, I've been watching wrestling since 1998 and I've never heard Triple H say he liked anybody other than Shawn Michaels.

When Triple H was asked by Punk to decribe what attributes he didn't like in Punk, HHH described himself to a tee.

Ahh of course he doesn't like Punk. Punk's a heel, Trips is a face right now. That's kind of how it works ;) Although I guess in Punk's case it's the reverse in a lot of cases. I was wondering what timothy was basing that on. Thanks for the explanation.

I was reading an article wz.com were they talking a possible story arc involving those two. agin RAW was awesome.

I stand corrected.

Theres apparently some whispers about a possible CM Punk/Chris Jericho match at WM28.

Linky.

If this is the case... hot-damn!
