wwe vs tnt anyone watching?

Haven't been watching, but if there's anybody that deserves to get the hell out of mid card status and get a major push to the title, is Captain Charisma himself, Christian. He should rightfully take Edge's spot at the top, now that he's retiring due to injury. Get him over to Raw and have him start a program with The Miz or keep him on SD and feud with Del Rio.

I really hope that Christian gets a World title push. He's been held back for too long. Have no idea what Vince's problem with him is. He's charismatic (dur!), has ring presence despite his size and bulk, great on the mic, athletic as fuck, is over big time with the fans and can draw heat too. I mean even freaking TNA saw his potential and actually USED it!!! It's time for another WWE People's Champion!! Yeah, I'm marking out big time for Christian. He's one of my favs.

I do feel it is odd Edge is retiring which is sad...but John Cena wants to face the Rock for a title...I know he said WWE title...but why not the Heavy Weight title!? What!? :p

wow we agree on something . I love christian he's been a fav of mine for the longest
time. He's terriffic as a face and as a heel. I am one of the peep's . and his fued with
del rio will make a great story arc . awesome kong coming to the wwe . the girls are gona get it . gail kim will be the only one who will be prepared . they might even start
there fued up agin . I love the apple group I thinks great santino will make a great
leader .

I wonder if Vince just has a grudge against Christian for jumping to TNA and will never give him a world title push because he just can't forgive the guy for that. There's also the fact that Vince seems to have decided a long time ago that Christian just isn't main event material.

This was apparently one of the reasons Christian jumped in the first place (well that and the fact that TNA seemed to be building up enough momentum at the time to become legitimate competition), but I don't think anything has changed in Vince's mind since he came back.

The guy has worked his ass off for years in excellent tag team matches, ladder matches, TLC matches, and "Money in the Bank" matches and still can't catch a break. He's also been an entertaining talker in both TNA and the E. I'll never forget his hilarious rap promo against John Cena where he asked Tomko to "give him a beat" and rhymed "Michael Cole" with his catchphrase (he even had a great catchphrase!) Many less worthy individuals have been crowned world champion. I don't think he'll ever get his due. :(

Christian jumped because he and Vince had legit beef. That's all patched up now since he's been back.

I am still thinking that this whole Rock/Cena WWE Championship match is a April Fool's Joke and am not gonna buy it until next year that it isn't.

Stone Cold is not going to be wrestling any matches. His knees are bad. The most we could see him do is spots and sketches but he won't be wrestling. What are you talking about they did a lot of rewriting at Wrestlemania? Do you have sources that will support your comment? The only thing that I know that was tossed in was Trips/UT.

Austin has actually indicated in several interviews that his body is in the best shape it's been in years, and that if he wanted to he could wrestle full-time for at least a couple of years. He added though that he has no desire to do that, because he wants to enjoy old age with a body that isn't completely broken down.

I think he will in fact see him wrestle in the next year or so. I would not be at all surprised to see a program with CM Punk in time for Summerslam. The interest in that is pretty high.

Christian is one of my favorite guys in the WWE, but I don't see him getting a world title push. I don't think that's due to any kind of vendetta against him. He's incredibly talented in the ring, on the mic etc, but I will admit he seems to lack that extra intangible. Something is just slightly off. I could see him as a transitional champion, but I can't picture him as someone who could carry Smackdown! or Raw.

This is one of those cases where I'd love to be wrong. He was a great champion in TNA, and his work in WWE has been pretty damn awesome across the board. Maybe it's just a question of putting him in that position and seeing what happens.

cristian was also a former ecw champion if that has any standing at all anymore .
and he was tna world champion twice I think . they will probably do something
realy cool for smackdown now that edge has left. I surprised vicki did'nt make a
snide comment on his way out. now we will see more replay momments of this on superstars and smackdown for awhile . I'll miss the Rated R superstar.

:wah::wah::wah::wah:

I am sure they all had their moments with Edge off camera somewhere else.

I would love to see a Miz Vs Stone Cold match at Wrestlemania.

I think I recall that interview with Austin but didn't really think much of it at the time. I'll rephrase my statement from before and suggest we could see maybe one or two matches from him.

top three matches for wrestlemania 28 :

the rock vs john cena :bolian::bolian::bolian:
tripple hhh vs the undertaker round 2 :techman:
stone cold steve austin vs the miz ( winner of tough enough at ring side):drool::drool::drool:

that would make a great begining . and the rock to be inducteded into the hall of fame next year . along with rikishi. if that's how you spell his name.

Wow, I don't generally watch wrestling (checked it out recently for The Rock stuff), so I'm just finding out about Edge now. What a lovely goodbye speech. Really made me feel like I took him for granted. I just always sort of assumed he'd be wrestling forever and never thought of singling him out for praise or lamenting his eventual retirement.

I guess one reason is because he didn't have a lot of famous on on one matches like many of the best wrestlers, but I realized recently he's a big reason why some of my all-time favourite wrestling matches were tag team matches.

My favourites were his tag team match with Rey Misterio against Benoit and Angle at No Mercy 2002 (the moves in this were all executed with such unbelievable smoothness and style) and of course the TLC matches, particularly the second one at Wrestlemania X-7.

He and Christian were such a magnificent tag team. I loved their comedy stuff so much, especially when they teamed up with Kurt Angle. Edge and Christian were one of the big reasons why my favourite period of the WWF was 2000-2002.

His retirement announcement is sad, but also bittersweet. I'm just happy to know he's doing this so he can retire in relatively good health instead of wrestling until he's physically broken down to a horrendous degree.

He's one of those wrestlers that can make me proud to be Canadian, very much in the Bret Hart mold as a brilliant tag team wrestler who somewhat surprisingly evolved into an equally brilliant singles wrestler. As much as I loved the comedy stuff, I think my favourite performances of his were the stuff he did as a heel champion in 2006.

That was about the time I pretty much stopped being a big WWF fan, and like Lance Storm in WCW, he was one of the few bright spots in a promotion very much on the decline (in WWF, quality-wise, not financially like WCW).

His "sex celebration" thing with Lita was insane and ridiculous, but undeniably a marvelous spectacle, and his performance at the "One Night Stand" 2006 pay per view was one of the greatest 'slimy bastard' performances I've ever seen.

Him costing John Cena the title (to raucous "Thank you, Edge!" chants) and dry humping Beulah as he pinned her was a thing of beauty.

Edge was my favorite current wrestler. His farewell speech was terrific and I am glad he is smart enough to get out before he needed to spend the rest of his life in a wheel chair. He and Christian were definitely one of the best tag teams the WWE ever put together. You will be missed Edge!!

I must be the only cynical guy here then lol. While the speech was extremely emotional and well said it still had elements of Shawn Michael's "I lost my smile" speech and we all know that was a work. Edge is retiring but one has to question these things from time to time. After all, everyone remembers Ric Flair's big, huge retirement night celebration where the ENTIRE roster came out to pay their respects right? ;)

Adam Copeland is not Ric Flair by any means but just something to think about.

timothy please stop making matches for Wrestlemania 28. It's a year from now. Tons of shit goes on during that year. You could MAYBE count rock vs cena as the only match booked. I still think that is going to turn out to be a April Fool's joke (yes I'm repeating myself). Just because Undertaker said he'd like Trips to end his career and fans are speculating that he will retire next year doesn't mean it's going to happen. Your s'markiness is irritating me.

John Cena expresses his feelings towards Edge after Raw aired...
