wwe vs tnt anyone watching?

I really think this is a great opportunity for the WWE to make Cena a Heel, if for nothing else but to continue this solid momentum. I mean I am a casual fan, but last night I actually DVRd Raw because I wanted to see where all these storylines are going with a few days before Wrestlemania. Undertaker/HHH/HBK's segment was awesome, and so was the final segment with Rock/Cena/The Miz. I just wonder how the WWE could keep this up post Mania, and I think they've crossed that path where they can't go back to the Status Quo unless they want to screw with their so-called "WWE Universe". The product has been on a creative high the last few weeks that going back to same ol same ol will be very disappointing.

Nice to see Smackdown get another match at mania, but it will still be a Raw centric show. Also, I was a bit disappointed that the stuff we got from Cole and Lawler could have been done any other week and it wouldn't have mattered. I wish more had been done there but I guess you can only do so much with that storyline.

I actually do wish I could see Wrestlemania but I can't pay 65 bucks for it. Guess I'll be reading a lot of WWE stuff that Sunday night.

SIXTY-FIVE DOLLARS?!

Jesus! I remember when it was thirty.

What I'm hoping this influx of guys like Austin and The Rock (both of whom are apparently planning to hang around post-Wrestlemania) will inspire some of these younger guys to push themselves harder. I think just being around The Rock has already had a positive impact on The Miz. Right now you have some of the all-time greatest Wrestlemania veterans showing these younger guys exactly how to build up a big-time show. Hopefully those younger guys are paying attention.

Edge/Christian has been consistently making my day. They're one of my all-time favorite tag teams.

It's a shame about Finlay. In the end I think it had a lot to do with The National Guard being a big WWE sponsor and a lot of their guys being in the audience that night. Hopefully this will be one of those things where WWE fires someone to make someone else happy and then brings the terminated person back at a later date (it's certainly happened in the past--Remember Pat Patterson and the sexual harassment lawsuit?)

Just noticed that WWE has up a article about the revival of WCW, maybe TPTB don't feel that they have enough of a rival in TNA.

Also, Jericho recently stated that he will be attending WM this year and I'm thinking he'll more than likely attend the HOF ceremony, just given that Shawn Michaels is being inducted.

Not to mention they brought back Cena after his steroid troubles, although that was just a suspension. Interesting now that I've brought it up that we've not heard of anyone else being nailed by their steroid policy.

Triple H will induct Shawn Michaels at HOF and the Rock mentioned in a recent MTV interview that he'll be involved in the last ten minutes of the Cena/The Miz match but wouldn't reveal in what capacity. I'm guessing a run in or something like that. I'm now more convinced than ever that Cena is gonna turn.

A Cena heel turn would be brilliant, but it has to be handled well. Austin's heel turn in 2001 barely survived on the strength of Austin alone, but it would have been so much better if it had been executed just a little better.

Austin's heel turn survived on the basis of the What phenomenon! WHAT?!! Also for my fellow Canadians, Score will be showing the HOF about a week later (they don't have the rights to show the USA broadcast live for some reason) so that's good.

Austin's heel turn failed because EVERYONE LOVES AUSTIN

The same can't be said for Cena. I'd argue he's already turned heel.

^ That is the impression I got after he gave the Attitude Adjustment to the Rock...I just hope the WWE doesn't attempt a swerve or some bullshit like that.

I'd think if he had been a face, he would have at least tried to make the save for the Rock. But no, he waited until Rock had the upper hand and was distracted and then came up behind him and hit him with the FU.

Classic Heel move.

His reaction afterwards is a very telling factor. He was dead serious up until he smiled and did the "You Can't See Me" hand wave.

I think WWE need to be really careful. Its common knowledge in the Creative department that they want to run with a Cena heel programme. I don't know, WWE is very careful about Merchandise Sales. If Cena is the bad guy, Kids ain't gonna buy his stuff. Then again all they would need to do is throw another Babyface into the spotlight (Sin Cara anyone?)

I always saw the plan at Wrestlemania to be Rock helping Cena win the title and then endorsing him afterwards. Although I dislike this scenario, its the most logical one. Cena's Heel turn if it happens needs to be slow building. If The Rock decides he wants to get in the ring again, they have a few a months then to build Cena into a Heel and have the long anticipated Cena Vs Rock match at Summerslam (the number 2 PPV of the year).

Since Wrestlemania next year is being hosted in Miami, The Rock is surely a lock for it. He could then have a rematch with Cena, in which Cena reverts back to a Babyface. An optional timeframe scenario for WWE to experiment with Cena as a Heel. But I don't know.

Cena would need to come out and be totally different. Black Shirt, black jeans, black hat, with new Heel Logo, Run in and keep interfering with matches. Dont speak at all for a time and just do the hand wave and smile. A big heel turn could take place at mania if he ran in and cost HHH the match. This would set up a HHH(Face) vs Cena(Heel) program and allow Taker to maintain the streak. Since its no holds barred there is no DQ so anything Cena would do would be legal. Cant see that happening of course but that would be the way I would do it.

^ I could see something like that. I'd like to see an Orton/The Miz program. Randy has never really been given a shot at a decent title reign. As I've said before fans and the creative team it seems are more interested in the chase rather than a reign. Same thing with Shawn Michael's first WWE Title reign. The chase was much more interesting than his first reign which was kind of dull.

So is TNA packaging Mr. Anderson as essentially another Stone Cold? That is what it seems like to me. What's this new thing with swearing on their programs? I'm hardly a moralist but seems over the top and a sign of desperation. At least the WWE doesn't out right say SHIT or anything like that on their programming. Sigh. This product is pure crap right now and I feel immensely sorry for any one watching it right now.

I thought the Austin heel turn was fine. It just got swept up in the awful Invasion storyline.

For the Cena heel turn to work there has to be enough strong, young faces in the company to pick up the slack and give Cena something to work with. Putting a heel Cena against Triple H, Edge or Undertaker is fine, but if the turn is going to have any long-term success there has to be some strong faces who are likely to be around for a while and maintain the level of popularity that Cena has helped to maintain. Right now a Cena heel turn would work, because he's up against one of the most popular figures in the history of Pro Wrestling (The Rock). That's not long-term either.

Randy Orton is pretty popular these days, but I'm not sure he could be the guy. A feud between the two with reversed roles would definitely be interesting though.

last night's tna was pretty good well except the diva match loved the six man cage match . and the kurt angel and the jeff jerett fued is going great . and what is up
aj any news ?

^ You're actually liking TNA right now? Wow. They were saying on Impact that AJ is out indefinitely and I've not really seen anything on the websites about him, although I've frankly not looked. I can't stand the Jarrett/Angle feud. Hogan and Eric are pathetic. They've become parodies of themselves.

TNA is pointless. I think if WWE is going to have a rival it would do everything the WCW did right up till the over use of NWO...And the company wouldn't involve Hogan or Bischoff. I think following WWE's model in the Attitude era would also help. JMO.
