wwe vs tnt anyone watching?

The thing is that Hogan and Bischoff are doing absolutely nothing different than when they were in WCW. Immortal/Fortune/TNA? Echos of nWo, etc. Immortal's theme song is a bad cover of Voodoo Child for crying out loud (and yes I know that's because Vince owns the rights to all the nWo music including the VC cover Hogan used). I really think Sting made the wrong decision when he resigned and if he resigned because he was granted another title reign, that was stupid in my opinion. I think Vince would have been able to use him better. An Undertaker/Sting feud would be amazing.
 
Yeah Taker/Sting would be amazing. I don't think wrestling will ever be as exciting as it was in the late 90's. :lol: :sigh:
 
Steve Borden stated that the reason why he never signed with the WWE back in 2001 was because of how he saw the WCW being used in the Invasion storyline and thought that he'd be treated in the same manner. The thing is though I think the Invasion storyline was hurt by the fact that Sting wasn't apart of it. Everyone wanted to see him.

I will say that it was nice seeing Christopher Daniels return last night. One of the most underrated wrestlers ever i think.

I know I am not happy with them . I don 't like immortal and I hate the nexus's and the corre . when they do these power groups like these it brings the hole show down.
I like how the turned fortune into a face team which was great . and MR. anderson is
coming into his own a main eventer.
 
it looks like chris is doing great at dancing with the stars . good for him .
the only problem I have with the road to wrestlemania is all the damn recaps.
we know what is going on we are watching we need more matches instead of the damn recaps . and who thinks these wwe rumblers are cool I so like them.
 
^ You just stated that you enjoyed TNA in the last page! Mr. Anderson is basically just a repackaged Stone Cold Steve Austin. Another example of TNA not knowing what to do with someone and using a stolen gimmick.

Anyways I'd thought it be fun if we all gave our Wrestlemania 27 predictions! So here I go with mine (these are of course the known matches).

-Edge (c) With Christian Vs Alberto Del Rio With Brodus Clay and Roberto Rodriguez (WWE World Heavyweight Championship Singles Match)

Winner: Edge (I think he'll win, he's got a Wrestlemania losing streak to break and I don't think Del Rio is quite ready for the spotlight but he's close).

-The Miz Vs John Cena (WWE World Title Match)

Winner: The Miz (The Rock becomes involved in this match costing Cena the title and Cena turns heel)

-Triple H Vs Undertaker (No Holds Barred Match)

Winner: Undertaker (although this will be quite the battle. I see UT ending this with a Tombstone thus continuing the streak)

-Jerry "The King" Lawler Vs Michael Cole (With Jack Swagger) Special Guest Ref Stone Cold Steve Austin

Winner: The King (I think Cole will lose after months of heel build up and Lawler taking it and I predict it's revealed that he's been the Raw Anonymous GM all this time and is taken off commentary for a while. JR also returns)

-Randy Orton Vs CM Punk

Winner: CM Punk (this feud continues, I bet Nexus interferes somehow someway. I can also see Randy winning this or it ending in a DQ but I think Punk will win)

-Rey Mysterio Vs Cody Rhodes

Winner: Cody Rhodes Via DQ (I think Cin Cara makes his debut attacking Rey and setting up a feud. Plus Cody needs a win even via DQ)

-Trish Stratus, John Morrison and "Snooki" Vs Lay Cool, Dolph Ziggler, and Vicky Guerrero (Six Person Mixed Tag Match)

Winner: Stratus, Morrison, and Snooki get their revenge and I don't have to hear that stupid Jersey Shore theme song any more

-Sheamus (c) Vs Daniel Bryan (United States Championship Match)

Winner: Sheamus

Kane, Big Show, Santino Marella, and Vladimir Kozlov (With Tamina) Vs The Corre

Winner: The Corre


So that's mine. Let's see yours. I almost forgot to mention (I have no idea if this was a stupid April Fool's Joke or not) but Metalica tweeted and it was also on Trips Facebook page that he'll be using a Metalica song for his entrance theme tomorrow. Interesting.


There are several websites reporting that Sting made comments that the WWE's offer included Triple H's current spot against Undertaker (which would explain why this was suddenly thrown together) along with a HOF induction. This makes me scratch my head. Why would anyone turn down an offer like that if it's true to remain with TNA? I understand company loyalty and a World Title reign is not something to scoff at but seriously...turning down a HUGE Wrestlemania program and an ultimate dream match? I say bad decision on his part if this is true...and the comments were made before April 1...

I pretty much agree with all your points Admiral_Young. Even though I probably won't watch the show, (Unless I get a PM of a good streaming site that shows it but I know that's frowned upon around here) but I'm hoping this Wrestlemania shakes up the Status Quo. Get rid of the Raw Anonymous GM, make Cena a Heel, and if Triple H just so happens to beat the streak, I think that would be awesome, even though I'm pretty sure it won't happen. Hopefully it's a good show, and my predictions for the matches that I care about:

Edge vs. ADR: Edge Retains

Lawler vs. Cole: Lawler wins, and just to go back to the Austin Heel days, Cole finally get's the Stunner he so deserves.

HHH vs. Undertaker: I agree with everyone who says Undertaker will probably take it to 20 and 0 and then retire. Streak stays alive.

Cena vs. The Miz: Here's what I mean by shaking up the status quo. I hope The Miz wins and Cena turns Heel for a feud with the Rock (But then again, I think all the wrestling fans from the Attitude Era, and I count myself as one of those, hopes that happens)

Randy Orton vs. CM Punk: Another shake up of a status quo. I hope CM Punk wins and get's the push he so richly deserves

Shaemus vs. Daniel Bryan: I expect this to be a classic match, showing that today's talent does have that "it" factor in the ring. I think Shaemus will win, as he's been on a role since the lifting of the "Curse" but I can see this match going for a long long time.

Don't really care for any of the others, but if Trish does Stratusfaction finally, it will be the highlight of that match.

There have been rumors that Rock is back for one more match...they've been constant since his return last month. He's remained mum on the subject and just signed on for another film. As with the spot last monday he has a lot of ring rust so I doubt he would return to wrestle. That being said he could become involved in a feud with Cena.
 
Edge vs Del Rio, Del Rio as Christian turns on Edge setting up there new feud.

Miz vs Cena, Miz Retains and due to Rock interference. Both Miz and Cena get Rock Bottomed
HHH Vs Undertaker Taker Wins Due to HBK interference
King vs Cole, King wins and Cole and Swagger get Stunners. Stone Cold celebrates with King and many beers.
Punk vs Orton, Orton wins and Punk gets Punted
Rhodes vs Mysterio, Rhodes wins clean
Six person mixed tag goes to Stratus' team. Although in this one there could be a snooki swerve as she brings out some gorillas to help her.
Shaemus vs DB, King Shaemus wins clean and starts towards another title run
Show, Santino, Kozlov vs Corre, COBRAAAAAAAA!!! but Corre wins due to Kane interference upset about doing the stupid horn thing and we turn Kane back into the monster.
 
Yeah I can see Christian turning and them starting a feud. In an odd story the WWE is looking to be known as just WWE while removing the word wrestling from their name. It was speculated that this was a bad April Fool's joke but other sites have ran with the story since...
 
I know I stated I liked tna also Like hogan just not as a heel. also I hate bishoff .
as far as wrestlemania goes .for a four hour show there does'nt seem to be a lot
of matches . I know I want to see john win over the miz and they reverse their roles.
I want to see edge beet the holy $#it out del rio and edge retains the world title .
daniel bryan wins the us title for a second time . michael kole gets what coming to him and jerry wins and after the match continues to beat him down. also want to
see Triple HHH win over the undertaker . HBK special refree call's it down the middle
and then gets revenge for last year's lost .

over all I want to see kane and THE BIG SHOW cream the corre. as for the diva's
thing TRISH'S team pure and simple because I love trish stratus . and I would like
to see snookie beat the shit out of vicki .

as for the rest I am not sure . and looking forward to monday . My tv's staying on
usa. we have the hall of fame ,RAW AND THEN TOUGH ENOUGH.
 
^ So basically you want all the faces to win and the heels to lose? LOL. I thought so. Although I would say that both Trips and UT are neutral right now. Like I reported above I really do have a better understanding of this program now if Trips was tossed in their to replace Sting. I don't think Shawn will be special guest ref, they had a chance to name him that on Raw and he walked away, that's to say that I do think he'll be involved somehow.
 
I must be way to caught up in this Wrestlemania hype for someone who's not going to buy the thing because it costs too much. I have that freaking song stuck in my head. :(
