wwe vs tnt anyone watching?

The crowd was electric from the moment Punk hit the ring. We were treated to NXT and Superstars before Raw began and Smackdown after. The Chicago crowd truely hates Cena, not much love for Taker either. HHH, HBK, the Rock and Santino blew the roof off the place.
This was one of the loudest Raws and wrestling events I have ever been at. Only wrestling crowd louder would have been a Nitro I went to with an early Goldberg appearance and that was when WCW filled the United Center to capacity.

Also everything in Cena's speech that he said was true. The Rock couldnt' say one legitimate thing against Cena lol. I loved that Cena basically addressed all the things that the haters have against him. I thought his speech was classy as hell, and if you've been following my posts in this thread I'm not really a Cena fan. I respect him, but I'm not really a fan.

Yeah, I liked the part when Cena actually made some rebuttals to the things The Rock had said about the way he dresses, the way he talks, the way he lives his life, etc. It was just all the sucking up that seemed excessive and unnecessary to me. I find Cena bland and annoying most of the time, but the second half of his speech was damn good.

I have to admit that my opinion regarding Wrestlemania this year has changed over the course of the month. I think the card and booking is shaping up really nicely. The only match that I really still don't care about or disagree with...is HHH/Undertaker. They're promoting and building it up nicely but really don't agree with the logic behind it. The segment with Shawn was a surprise and was done nicely. I loved when Taker blocked Sweet Chin Music and was about to choke slam him. All three men in the ring ooze charisma and presence. Just awesome.

Potential has sometimes been the undoing of a really great card, but all the same I really, really, really wish I was going to see Wrestlemania this Sunday. It's been a while since the majority of a Wrestlemania was that intriguing to me. Almost everything has been handled beautifully. Last night's Raw had one of the best closing segments I've seen in a long, long time. Everyone is putting forth some of their best work. I've been especially impressed with Cena. A lesser talent would have been blown out of the water by The Rock a month ago. The same goes for The Miz. I've been a fan of this guy for a long time, and it's gratifying to see him holding his own against so much established talent.

To be honest I'm looking forward to Lawler/Cole/Austin almost as much as I'm looking forward to Cena/Miz/Rock and Undertake/Triple H/HBK. It's about bloody time Lawler got to compete at Wrestlemania. The guy has proved pretty consistently over the last few months that he definitely still has a lot left in the tank both as a personality and as an in-ring performer.

I'm also loving Undertaker using "Ain't No Grave" as his theme song. That just brings out the music/wrestling nerd in me. So many of today's entrance themes are sorely lacking.

I really think this is a great opportunity for the WWE to make Cena a Heel, if for nothing else but to continue this solid momentum. I mean I am a casual fan, but last night I actually DVRd Raw because I wanted to see where all these storylines are going with a few days before Wrestlemania. Undertaker/HHH/HBK's segment was awesome, and so was the final segment with Rock/Cena/The Miz. I just wonder how the WWE could keep this up post Mania, and I think they've crossed that path where they can't go back to the Status Quo unless they want to screw with their so-called "WWE Universe". The product has been on a creative high the last few weeks that going back to same ol same ol will be very disappointing.

Nice to see Smackdown get another match at mania, but it will still be a Raw centric show. Also, I was a bit disappointed that the stuff we got from Cole and Lawler could have been done any other week and it wouldn't have mattered. I wish more had been done there but I guess you can only do so much with that storyline.

I actually do wish I could see Wrestlemania but I can't pay 65 bucks for it. Guess I'll be reading a lot of WWE stuff that Sunday night.

yeah I know ppv's have gone up an extra $30 that's so wrong . I loved this week RAW great show. looking forward to smackdown and superstars . But , most likely sueprstars will be nothing but HYPE for wrestlemania probably no matches or maybe just one or two matches tops .

I just got finished watching RAW. Edge & Christian were great...really don't care about Undertaker & HHH...but I think Taker will win and he will win next Wrestlemania and he will be 20-0 and call it quits. The Rock kills me. Loved it when he said Cena looks like a homeless Power Ranger. :rommie: I didn't like Cena setting back while Rock took care of Miz and then made his move like it was something special...it wasn't...it sucked.

^ Exactly. The look on Cena's face after he executed the Attitude Adjustment on Rock was awesome sauce! The face of a heel! I wonder though if the WWE can afford to have Cena as a heel for very long? They kind of already attempted a heel turn last year with the Nexus story line and we know how that turned out. I would have liked to have seen Cena gone over with Nexus instead of CM Punk.

I also loved Edge and Christian. Another fine match...I'm starting to like Del Rio now too :)

I know they keep trying to make john a heel . he started out as a heel people like
him as a face or they just don't like him . I like him the fued with the nexus was
great . though it took randy to finish off the nexus . randy flip flops so much he's
great at it . so hopefully at WM we will see the end of the nexus I am so tired of them . I am also sick of the corre . maybe they will die by summer slam .

Well, CM Punk is just damn awesome at everything he does. So i have no complaints about the current Nexus angle.

@Admiral Young

I don't agree and it was generic...if Cena is going to turn heel then it should be a little more spectacular...this didn't seem like something Cena would do...if was lame IMO. It would have been better if Cena helped The Rock and then turn on him. Leaving the ring and then just sitting back and laugh while waiting to make a move is the mark of a douchebag and not Cena like. IMO.

[edit] It is like there is no Cena Vs Miz going on. Meh.

The problem with John is that people are gonna boo and cheer anyway no matter what he is. He's kind of that way with the fans so I dunno. If he wins on Sunday I hope both the Miz and John turn! Miz to face and John to heel and continue their feud that way! I could see John utter a Hogan like heel turn speech about people not respecting him or his way of life and deciding to screw everyone! That they're rather cheer for someone like Miz who's nothing but a thug and a bully, so that is what Cena is gonna become. That'd be awesome to see. Probably won't happen.

To elaborate on what I was saying it would have been cool if Cena & The Rock would have taken care of Miz and Alex Riley had a moment like they put their differences behind them for the common good of taking out Miz and then Cena turning...on The Rock...little more dramatic then just sitting back...IMO.

^ Agreed. I thought it was a little weird that Cena was just watching, but it does make sense if he is turning heel. I've not read any Wrestlemania spoilers yet so I have no idea what to make of that.

Slam Wrestling is reporting that the WWE released Finlay over some kind of weird house show program where the Miz walked out during the singing of the US National Anthem which caused military members in the audience to complain and which resulted in Finlay being released since he booked the angle. Nothing else is known at the time. Sounds like a very uncomfortable angle indeed.

Snoop Dogg is gonna be in attendance at Wrestlemania. Also Twitter suspended Dixie Carter's account because of a false image of her posted? Have no idea about that too. I un-followed Dixie a long time ago lol.

^ Well it was during a house show so unless someone filmed it and uploaded it to youtube I doubt we'll be seeing what happened.
