wwe vs tnt anyone watching?

^ Yep. I know others in this thread will probably disagree with this...but it really was the start. They're very lucky that the Punk stuff caught fire when it did...that really bought them a couple more months. Now they're flat again.

I wish they would have found a new "leader" of Nexus when CM Punk was "leaving" it is like Nexus didn't exist. Ugh. :sigh:

Yep. They just dropped the story line after Wrestlemania basically. That story line really wasn't going any where either I don't think. Creative just drop story lines when they don't work and don't explain why. I think they think we aren't really paying attention...or at least most fans aren't. Which is probably the case.

Glad to hear Ric Flair will be on stage at the HoF. It just makes more sense to me for him to be with WWE, if only for the purposes of a single ceremony.

I've actually been fine with the recent WWE programming, for the most part.

I am just glad the hole nexus's and corre crap is done and over with I got tidius really fast.

It really look like there giving Jeff Hardy a second chance and really pushing him for a champion ship title reighn agin. though It looks like he really hurt himself good this week In a high risk monever.

^ Second chance?? This is like his fifth chance!

He used his second chance when he killed his dog when he burned down his trailer home.

If I never see Jeff hardy again so much the better. Its hard to believe TNA has been around ten years already.

It's hard to believe Dixie continues to allow Bischoff and Hogan to run her company into the ground...oh wait...no it isn't.

Bischoff is useful, he's responsible for the recent improvements to TNA's overall presentation. As an on screen personality though? No way...

If I were in Dixie's shoes, I'd release Hogan from his contract because he's just swallowing up company money and not earning TNA a dime (as the Americans say).

"Improvements"? I guess. Hogan to me offers nothing creatively and is only collecting a check due to all his personal problems right now. It's really kind of sad how much TNA has fallen. It had so much potential. It still does. It just needs the right people to handle the creative decisions. Not Eric, not Russo, new people with new ideas and who have a genuine love for the business and yet understand the business side and can work with Dixie.

I've been watching some old WCW footage on youtube as I've mentioned in the past. Man...was it bad. I think it really started to get bad after they expanded the nWo and starting having basically one out of every third superstar in their roster. They should have kept it small, and I'd go so far to say they should have involved former major WWF stars as members to enhance the invasion story line.

Also...Bret was totally just mishanded. He was given awful... unrecognisable theme songs. They had him join the nWo..what twice? Convoluted story lines that made absolutely no sense. Instead of bringing him and having him wrestle right away they got him involved in Sting/Hogan. Also wasn't he invovled with the Bischoff/Zybsko match? The swerved so many things and couldn't make up their minds what to do with him. He should have been one of their top faces right off the bat and booked him strong. Used him to bring down the nWo. Instead he was a pseudo heel...borderline heel most of the time. Wow. He had a couple of decent matches. A tainted World Title reign...I don't even think there was a pin in that match that resulted in the formation of nWo 2000. Just brutal.

Is 2012 Sting's last year as a wrestler? This is what Dixie thinks. I think his TNA contract runs out next year. If this is true then he really should have accepted Vince's offer last year.

Sting needs to do at least one WWE match and maybe appear a handful of times and I'd be happy. :)

Wrestlemania would have been absolutely bonkers last year if Sting faced Undertaker! Especially with the Rock hosting! Yeah. I'm a broken record on this subject but it is a subject I've always kind of been pissed at Borden at. I think he would have automatically been the number one face in the company had he signed. No matter what.

I am not sure how this year will be...but Rock & Cena is meh...especially if Punk & Jericho is happening...what about the title? Last year would have been great with Sting.

Yeah I still have a feeling that Rock Vs Cena won't be for the title. They'll take that "stip" out of the picture and just have the match. I wouldn't be shocked either if they booked and designed the match to be a rehash of Rock Vs Hogan. TNA did it...badly with the Sting/Hogan match!!

Each of John Cena's WWE Championship reigns in the last couple of years have been pointless. WWE can't seem to grasp that Cena doesn't need anymore world titles!

It's staggering to think of the talent that WWE could have elevated these past couple of years if they had strapped them instead of John Cena.

Miz should have dropped his title to Del Rio or Punk, not Cena, if they were gonna still do that. I firmly still believe they made a huge mistake by having him drop the title when he did.

You aren't going to like what I have to say...

Whilst it's true that I agree Miz should have been given more of a chance as WWE Champion, his reign failed to draw. In fact, the only thing drawing around this period was the return of The Rock. The main event of Wrestlemania 27 failed to promote any interest where Miz was concerned because all people cared about was The Rock and John Cena and whether they would have a confrontation.

I believe that the plan prior to The Rock agreeing to return was for an extended program between Miz and Cena that could possibly result in Miz having another title reign. As we know, this didn't happen, but I believe that it wouldn't have recieved that much more interest had it. The Miz is good wrestler, talker and personality, but he just didn't have the strength to carry a successful WWE Championship reign at that time. Could he do it now? Possibly, but only if he were placed in a program that the audience bought into.

I think that Miz should turn face and feud with Chris Jericho, this could be very interesting, given that both of them have made reality TV appearances and share similar character elements.

That isn't really Miz's fault. They booked him as a heel against SUPER Cena!!!! We don't know what would have happened because they got scared and bailed, and of course put the title back on their emergency guy Cena! This is what always happens when Vince and creative panic. Something is not going well...Cena is the answer! Why do you think he has divided the fandom? Fans are getting sick and tired of this crap. Cena is not the answer to your problems. There isn't enough trust and I guess creative is impatient. The Miz was over as a heel. No doubt about that. He was being heavily promoted, etc. I don't know how now is any different than last March to be honest.

Look at Del Rio. Another heel who they took a shot at and gave a title reign to...twice! Both times. They didn't give him a real chance IMO. Now he is injured and in the dog house. The injuries don't help the roster depth right now. Hopefully Punk's second title run is longer than anything that has happened in the last few months.
