I just noticed something interesting (probably irrelevant though). At the end of Raw last week Jack Swagger and William Regal are the ones that grab and toss Miz and Truth out of the building, and I think I noticed Wade Barrett. My point being...all heels![]()
So, are they going to have Zack Ryder eventually win the US title or have him job every week to Dolph Ziggler? It boggles me how WWE choose to humble a guy who has taken it upon himself to get over. That's the thing about WWE, they always talk about the importance of finding ways to get yourself over, but if you do it in a way where they don't have much say, then they make you pay for it.
I noticed Chris Jericho is again, going on about wrestlers ripping off other wrestlers signature moves and talking about the need for originality with some things. Let's look at Jericho and his selection of signature moves over the years shall we?
The Walls Of Jericho (Boston Crab): A move pioneered by Jim Londis and used by countless wrestlers through the years - Ripped Off By Jericho.
The Lionsault (Asai Moonsault): A move pioneered by Yoshihiro "Ultimo Dragon" Asai - Ripped Off By Jericho.
The Breakdown (Full Nelson Facebuster): A move developed from the Full Nelson hold popularised by Ken Patera and the facebuster variation has been used by many wrestlers prior to Chris Jericho - Ripped Off By Jericho.
Running Enziguri: A variation of the Enziguri, pioneered by Riki Choshu and used by countless wrestlers through the years - Ripped Off By Jericho.
The Flashback (Running Sleeper Slam): A move developed from the Sleeper hold popularised by Ed "Strangler" Lewis and the running slam variation has been used by many wrestlers prior to Chris Jericho - Ripped Off By Jericho.
The Codebreaker (Double Knee facebreaker): A move that has been frequently used as a standard in Japanese wrestling throughout the years - Ripped Off By Jericho.
So, as you can see, every single finishing move of Chris Jericho's through the years has been pioneered and popularised by other wrestlers. Hopefully, Jericho's comments are within kayfabe.
