It was a good flowing story and not as cheesie as the 1981 original.

I loved the Kraken in the recent movie but was a little afraid they wouldn't have some good monsters and beasts in this movie but the trailer has calmed any fears.

I didn't care much for Clash but I think this might be better since now there's no remake baggage to carry around and they can just do their thing.

My thoughts exactly on both points. Freed of the remake problems, this might be better. the first one was poorly paced, and though it was feature length, it had less substance than an episode of He-Man.

Freed of their reigns, they could make a fun movie now.

Really? Seemed kinda obvious. "Titans are free! Oh noes!" Enter: lots of sword/sandal/big critter action.

I'm psyched. I liked but did not love "Clash" the way I had hoped to, so I'm hoping this one is super fun.

i can appreciate the cheese of the original. its a good 80s movie IMO.

On the one hand a shame, because I liked Davalos. On the other hand, I also like Pike, so at least there's that.

I loved this first one, and this looks even better. My only complaint is the fact that they're replacing Alexa Davalos. I've really liked her since I first in Angel years ago. I'm not familiar with Rosamund Pike, but I did like what little of her we saw in the trailer.

Rosamund Pike was the 'bad girl' in Die Another Day. i thought she was one of the few good things in that movie so i think she'll do a fine job in Wrath.

I just wish they had at least dyed her hair so that she looks more like the character in Clash. But this is a fantasy movie, so maybe they'll have an explanation for why she looks so different. It's not a make or break thing for me at all, I just think it's easier to accept that kind of thing when they acknowledge it.

Me too. I do own the original and I like it. The last movie for Harryhausen.
