Really, the only people who seemingly make money with inscription are the same folks who surpass the gold cap because they're dealing in thousands of gold in sales and mats daily. Plus, if your realm is anything like mine Blizzard did a recent mass ban of botters, and herb prices have skyrocketed. I'm actually making a killing on lichbloom again. After attempting to make money selling glyphs for a month I eventually realized that on my realm at least you make more money selling the ink. I can sell Ink of the Sea for 3.5g each but for most glyphs I'm lucky to get more than 2g. Don't ask me how this makes any sense.![]()
I've actually been raiding half-assed all this expac with a group of friends, and I've been -- on and off -- preparing for my future human hunter main since they announced their inclusion in the expac. Five tabs of herbs, cloth, gear, rep turn ins (insta-exalted with the Aldor and Sons of Hodir? Yes please), and, of course, roleplay outfits. Plus, 65,000g from selling odds and ends, spending on my main, and moving my epic gem transmute every day.
Just trying to decide if I should buy a bike and bank it until after the expac for the new human.
Oh, and for the record, I discovered that if a name you want is held by a lvl 1 on a canceled account a friendly GM might be willing to change that character's name and give it to you. After talking with a GM I managed to reserve the name "Lucy" for that human hunter.
