Would you like a Vulcan if you first meet one?

i might. how close is said vulcan to the pon farr and is he hot? 
If you didn't know Vulcan's don't express emotions then their tone of voice could make you think they were being arrogant and condescending. And their emotionless face can be perceived as angry, even threatening.
If a person didn't know the facts about vulcans I think they wouldn't like them.
But since I do know the facts about vulcans I think i'd be the way most of the others in stafleet seem to be; on the whole I'd like them, but also be annoyed and frustrated with:

Never met one, so I don't know. Met my share of humans that act like Vulcans are supposed to act, though.

well, despite that i know how they act, at first, he/she would probably be irritating, and i would want to slap them. but then, llike everyone else, id probably grow to like them.
however, i have that silly, joking around sort of humor where the vulcan would end up just walking away. and people without a sense of humor are very frustrating.

It depends. Some Vulcans, such as Spock's childhood bullies (ST XI), Sisko's old enemy Solok (Take Me Out To The Holosuite) and pretty much the entire Science Council (again from ST XI) except for Sarek, are complete dicks. Which is odd, really, since such things are by definition emotional reactions - especially Solok, who was openly gloating throughout most of the episode - and thus cannot be logical.
Other Vulcans, such as Sarek, Spock, Tuvok, and even T'Pol, are quite likeable, IMHO. Even Soval from ENT grew to be a decent person after awhile.

True, true. I don't think you can generalize about Vulcans any more than you can about humans.
Some humans, I'm quite fond of. Some I think they are utter cockwads who really should eat a gun barrel.

I think it's a silly question. Though they express them subtlety usually, they do have viewpoints and emotions, and some seem like jerkwads (Solok), and others seem like perfectly respectable individuals (Spock though sometimes opinionated), and others go against what you think when you think 'Vulcan' altogether (T'Ryssa Chen).

Probably not. Here they are condescending, smug, and always right. That being said once both Humans and Vulcans get their respective heads out each species offers the other a mutual welcome perspective.that can studied, learned from and appreciated.
A Romulan may be condescending and also want to kill you...but if you're able to get to know each other you can be great friends and hoist a brewski together. At least one Romulan did admire the Humans' capacity to appreciate Romulan culture.
In the Star Trek verse it also seems to be implied that there are more Romulan/Human hybrids than Vulcan/Human hybrids. Not all of these offspring could be the products of coercion could they?

I'd probably like them just fine. I know entirely too many people who could pass for Vulcans as it is.
^ Would Vulcans ever "like" anyone, as we understand it? Is that...logical? Or would they consider it an emotion and thus something to be avoided?

Vulcan invite their closest friends to their weddings, so its not an unknown concept.
If you meet one looking like T'Pol you'll learn to like her quickly even though she was a little bit of an arrogant jerk in the beginning. Tuvok will make you feel there's no point to conversing after the business is handled. These are relationships not to be made overnight. Abrams made vulcans look like they'll hang around to chit chat or attend happy hour.
People seem to forget that Vulcans HAVE emotions. Very strong ones, in fact, which is why they work and discipline themselves so hard to keep them under control.
Tuvok had a close personal friendship with Janeway, for example, and he ISN'T half-human. To say nothing of a wife and children.
