Would you give your child a trekkie name?

My wife and I ended up naming our son James. It is after family names and one of the only names we could agree on. However James T. Kirk did come up in the converstation at which point my wife told me his middle name would NOT be Tiberius.

Best part is he was almost born on Shatner's birthday.

My dogs called Dax.

I also had a cat called neelix.

Names for kids i think would be OK.
