Would Suder and Seska have gone under Teero's mind control?

PR109

Lieutenant
Red Shirt
They were both ex Maquis members but I always wondered if Suder would have been under Teer's mind control Pagh'tem'far, B'tanay

Seska deflected to the Kazon but I wonder if one of the Kazons would have blurted out that phrase, would Cardassian Seska have been mind controlled? All of the Maquis under Chakotay's wing were tortured under the Teero's mind control. Seska was likely one of them and I do wonder if she tried to fight it off since Cardassians are known to repress Vulcan's mind meld but I guess this is different. It's a good thing Teero didn't do any blood work as he would have likely executed Seska for being an undercover Cardassian.

Suder (and all the other dead Maquis) probably. I'd suspect Seska would be trained to resist mind control.

Agreed. But then he would have suspected something was up with her.

I agree. There would have been no way she would have gone easily without any suspicions. We know Cardassians can resist Vulcan mind meld but they can resist mind control which is totally different? Even if she showed any resistant, he would have been suspicious, scanned her and find out she's a Cardassian spy since her genetic markers and organs are not Bajoran which would have resulted in him executing her (and possibly torturing). I think its safe to say she was mind controlled as well and like other Maquis members they have no recollection after the procedure.

Seska would've been a far more interesting character if they'd kept her onboard after the Kazon take over rather than just killing her off--a resident foil and adversary for Janeway and Chakotay to have to contend with (like Athena/Boomer on NuBSG).

Nah. They would have screwed up plot wise and character-developmentwise if they kept her on, based on how they handled other things....:bolian:

I think she knew that if she stood aboard on Voyager, the other Maquis members would have tried to kill her.

Because the Cardassians did a LOT more harm to the Maquis than the Federation ever did. The Cardassians and the way treated the colonists are the basic reason why the Maquis started in the first place.
