Would Sean Penn ever go Marvel-movie?

If the producers offered to make a huge donation to one of the humanitarian causes he so strongly supports---such as the Haitian Relief Organization---he might be swayed to take a role. A small but important role, such as the one he played in Walter Mitty, would probably interest him more than a lead.

He wanted to play an OTT bad guy, he liked the time period and genre, he's buddies with the producers, he had a few days to kill and this was an easy LA shoot...

Not saying he didn't do it for money, not at all, but it's not hard to imagine other reasons.

It's just beyond me that after all his humanitarian aid he's considered a "gigantic douche with baggage". Paired with the idea that the people who make Marvel movies would not hire him for something. They hired Downey Jr.


But yeah, maybe he is a douche in private. He was nice when he did suck my dick, though. But until I see him act otherwise I won't assume so. Hence my question: what did he do?

But what if Penn did? Redford, like Susan Sarandon in SPEED RACER, implied he appeared in the film for his grandkids. I'd say we're at least five years away from Penn doing it. But, if he did, which roles in Marvel might he be considered for?

Or which could he be drafted into forcibly?

Pray that Penn never comes within 1000 miles of a Marvel film script.
