I think doing such a thing would fall under fair-use and/or parody. There's one or two Trek-themed comedy/acting groups and bands out there that perform on a semi-regular basis and even sell CDs. But I'm guessing it would depend on the tone and intent of the works in question. If it could sufficently fall under the concept of "parody."
