Worth watching SGU?

It's my favorite of all the Stargate shows by far. While I like Rodney McKay and Daniel Jackson much better than any SGU characters I enjoy this show much more than Atlantis or SG-1. It's the Trek equivalent of DS9 of being the under appreciated show by the fans.

I'm currently in the process of watching all of DS9 for the first time. If we're going to compare SGU and DS9, that's a fight that SGU has no chance in hell of winning from what I've seen so far in DS9. At this point, I think I'd even rate VGR and ENT's first two seasons above SGU...

I think you have that flipped.
It's likely the fans that are supporting the show as it is. Everyone else is jumping off.

I've been rewatching DS9 for the first time since the show first aired. On Season 3 right now. I am going to respectfully disagree. DS9 really only started to become good once the Dominion was introduced. Never felt that Voyager is as bad as people say. I would say that SGU is on par with the other shows.

yeah, i agree with sanquist. the archaelogy and history behind SG1 was great. seeing brief shots of lord yu's chinese architecture, which inspired the ancient chinese was really well done.

Ds9's first 2 seasons where hardly brilliant but that show had the luxury of being a slow starter shows now don't especially SGU.
