Worst. Line. Ever.

This is tied with 'bonk, bonk' as worst line ever.
Every line in "The Naked Now" said to/by Crusher and Picard, and the Engineering crew/Wesley.
In "Gamesters of Triskelion" Lars goes into Uhura's cell, whereupon we hear Uhura screaming, objects being tossed around, and Kirk yells, "What's happening to Lieutenant 'Yuhura'?"
Um, let's see... her Drill Thrall is male, very large in comparison to her, and sees her as "available"... whaddya think?

We all know Trek has had its share of shitty lines. Which lines take the cake? I nominate Wesley Crusher's "I'm with Starfleet. We don't lie"

I thought it was "Oh My God, they're forming"??
but I could be mistaken I haven't seen the movie in a while.
That was Janice Rand who said they were forming.
Though I don't remember the exact quote and consequently may be fudging it a bit, I'm surprised nobody's mentioned Janeway's musings after Carey's death on how exploration isn't worth it if it costs even one life.

I love the lifeforms song!!
While I agree with the 'Let's lock and load' line (mainly because not only does it not fit Data, but not many people from the 24th Century at all), I like the 'To Hell with our orders,' since it sort of mirrors a line Spock said in one of the movies (TUC perhaps?) along the lines of; 'If I were human, I would say "Go to hell"...if I were human.'
Who knows? Perhaps with his expanding grasp of idioms and turns of phrase he wanted to emphasise his agreement with going back to Earth.

It's probably more that he just doesn't pull it off. It's not that it's out of character, it just sounds cringeworthy by the way he says it.
Data swearing in Generations is another bad one. Like the other lines I've mentioned, it sounds out of place in the film rather than out of place in Data's filthy mouth.
I didn't mind the lifeforms bit because the crew just stood around in disbelief. If they were grinning with an 'Oh, Data" look on their faces that would've been way worse.I have to go with Data's "lifeforms" song. That makes me cringe in embarassment every time. Embarassment? At watching Star Trek? That simply should not be happening. Interestingly, my sister, who enjoys watching Trek with me despite not being a fan, found it perfectly acceptable.
