I still shudder to think that "If Wishes Were Horses" belongs in the same canon as "The Visitor," "Far Beyond the Stars," and "In the Pale Moonlight."

Said canon also contains (1)A translucent, geen lawyer in a mumu forcing small children into brainwashing the crew of the Enterprise with an obscene gesture, (2)Janeway and Paris flying so fast that they accidentally evolved into iguanas and made some li'l iguana children, (3)Archer risking an international incident because his dog had a cold, and (4)Worf, Alexander, and Lwaxana sharing a mud-bath.

"If Wishes Were Horses" is a welcome addition to Star Trek canon by comparison. At least Odo wrangling emus is intentionally funny.
