Part One has ended. Because of a three-way tie for fifth place, the top 7 vote-getters have moved on to this round. Select which one you like LEAST, and the episode receiving the most votes will be named TrekBBS's least favorite from DS9's fifth season, and move on to the final series poll.

Past winners:

Season One: Move Along Home
Season Two: Sanctuary
Season Three: Meridian
Season Four: The Muse

Let He Who Is Without Sin... for me.

How the hell did Children of Time get on that list?! :wtf:

I was wondering the same thing...one of the best and most poignant eps of the series!

I consider Soldiers of the Empire the best Klingon ep too, and have always liked The Assignment because I'm one of those rare Keiko fans.

Cast my vote for Let He Who is Without Sin....really the only out-and-out stinker of the season, and what I predict to be a runaway winner here.

It's a wonderful episode, but some people just don't care for time travel. Either that or some people confused it with the awful "Time's Orphan".

Let He Who Is Without Sin... was my choice as well.

Children of Time may have been one of the top vote-getters, but it only received five votes, so it's not like there was a lot of dislike for it. It may be that some people voted for it because they liked other episodes more in what was a very strong season. Last round, I voted for The Darkness and The Light even though I really don't dislike the episode. I just happen to like 23 other episodes more.

I suspect Children of Time will be vindicated this round.

Looks like Sin is getting the finger.

I didn't like Children Of Time for the reset button. Poignancy don't mean a thing if a show don't have consequences.

But the show did have consequences, Kira found out about Odo's love for her (from old Odo) while young Odo was still in the dark.

I believe the full title is "Let He Who is Without Sin Cast that Damned First Stone Already Because the Rest of Us (Including the Writers of This Episode) Have Armfuls of Rocks That Need Throwin'!" Understandably, the episode's title is usually shortened.

Add me to the chorus of voices that find the last two episodes on that list baffling. Children of Time was a very moving episode, and Soldiers of the Empire was one of Worf and Martok's best episodes.

Ferengi Love Songs

I like the Quark episodes but Moogie and Zek...blech!!

Let He Who Is Without Sin...never bothered me that much. Worf is an asshole some of the time.

I thought "Soldiers of the Empire" was a very average episode that didn't do much for me at all. I did appreciate a few things it did such as give us the Klingon perspective on the Dominion but a lot of the Klingon behavior/attitudes were nothing new or interesting especially since this sort of thing was done better years earlier on TNG with "A Matter of Honor". And the resolution was utterly predictable. I knew exactly how it would all play out.
