Was there another version of TNG because I don't remember Troi's penchant for random one night stands.Maybe this was a frequent and well known behavior on Troi's part?

It's a possibility.
It's not like we see them going to the bathroom either, I think it's okay to assume things from time to time.
I agree. What makes it seem really out of character is if she was doing this she wouldn't seem so uncomfortable around her mom who is someone I could easily being like that when she was Deanna's age. You would think Troi would be more like Riker and be less regal. Was there another version of TNG because I don't remember Troi's penchant for random one night stands.
Is it out of character for her?I suppose but if you're going to assume things that are out of character, then anything is possible even if it makes little sense. I guess after so many years, there aren't many more undiscussed topics about Star Trek, eh? I'm not trying to fight or troll but I don't see the point in speculating about such things.
By the way, other than Al in Married With Children, do we ever see anyone use bathrooms on TV?

Yep, Homer on the toilet.Hearing the toilet flush was certainly a big thing on All In The Family, but yeah, not a major plot device on most shows outside of Simpsons or Family Guy.

She jumped in bed pretty fast with the creepy mind reader guy.
She was getting cozy with the other mind reader guy that had the beard and the entourage.
And the guy on the planet with the closed society?
Plus the guy that made her all old.
I'm not so sure that her purity isn't just a ruse.
It's obvious that she isn't opposed to hitting it pretty quickly with a man she barely knows.
It's possible the Troi character, if Roddenberry had stayed in charge might very well have been having sex with many of the crew.

I can't remember the exact episode of TNG but there was one where Worf, Crusher, and a security team were responding to an emergency call from one of the cargo bays and as they approach the doors you see them casually strolling as if they are taking a relaxed walk.![]()
WORF: No running in the corridors!I'll add this to the "unrealistic hallway behavior list", along with why the hell people are simply moving at a walking pace through the halls on their way to save the ship before times runs out & they all die. That one gets me too. RUN GEORDI! RUN!
I've heard that it is against the union laws for a director to direct a extra and if you do the extra has to be paid like a actor. I'm curious as to how any extra has any clue as what to do if that is the case.TVtropes calls this "ghost extras".

It's not uncommon in TV and movies, if you watch carefully, mainly because movie producers tend to get very irate if they feel one of the 'background artists' is trying to stand out from the crowd and big note themselves in a scene where the focus is supposed to be on the main characters. So the alternative is the casting manager herding the extras around and basically telling them, 'don't react to anything unless the director tells you to'. Which leads to funny scenes like this one where you'd expect Ensign Joe Blow to react when seeing one of the senior officers looking and acting like a shrew, but instead he just ignores events as though he and they are in completely different and unrelated streams of reality or something.![]()

Jae & Martinez were downright fixtures on board, both on the show & in at least some of the movies. I think the same rules apply though, but some extras are just good enough that they get asked back, because they can make it believable. What about the recurring extras. There are a few who showed up throughout the seven seasons and at least one showed up in the movies.
He should have turned his head to look at them and then utter, "giggety"TVtropes calls this "ghost extras".
