Worst/dumbest TNG props?

Are they a stupid prop, though? I always thought they looked pretty futuristic. And certainly the real game they are is ubiquitous enough to not be recognized by the majority of viewers, no?

Certainly not the worst prop ever. It was indeed most likely obscure enough to not be recognized by most people (outside of Japan), but those buttons, especially the D-pad, instantly remind me of a Game Boy or Playstation controller which makes that thing look outdated and too "real." One would assume there are more sophisticated toys in the 24th century.

The masks in "Masks" both look silly, but Picard's looks much more so than Data's.

That’s the one I immediately thought of. Looks pretty silly indeed …

I actually think this is a good prop, medical equipment put on someone's head in real life tends to look a bit silly too because they're utilitarian designs. This feels like whoever designed the prop actually put some thought into it, there's a screen displaying information, an unused second port on her left side where other equipment could be attached and the head cover is reminiscent of a scrub cap and attractiveness is not considered.

Dom-Jot just looked like slightly more complicated bumper pool to me. It looked like fun.

I tried to make the conspiracy scene a little more thrilling a few years ago.. (turn speakers down at work)
My question is why are Phasers so incredibly weak?

I would hate to use them in a shootout or combat...

Must be the pacifists again...

After all, why defy them, they have the best interests of the opposition at heart...
