YESSS... there's been a new patch in World of Warcraft and Star Trek gets another reference!!

The captain on the zeppelin from Orgrimmar to Undercity now says as the ship leaves..

"Punch it"

Kind of an obscure reference. Haven't lots of action heroes used that phrase?

Any WoW players been to Booty Bay lately? Does chief engineer Scooty have a pet now?

Since this has just been included in the most recent patch following the film and since WoW does have a history of Trek references I think it's a fair conclusion that this is a Trek reference.

Warcraft is full of references, so it doesn't surprise me.

The Draenai in WoW seemed exactly like the Minbari from B5 to me - right down to their leader being called Vallen.

The most awesome Trek ref IMHO is the 5 Draenei NPC's who wander around the Exodar as a group. They are named Tobin, Emony, Audrid, Torias, and Curzon.
