Wow, that was an exciting game. Italy are out. Shame. They were in kind of the same position as us before this game, only we pulled through and they didn't.

I actually went to an Italian restaurant today. They were closing early to watch the game, and we were their last customers. At the moment, their food is better than their football. I really didn't expect this of Slovakia.

Well, at least both the teams I support are now through, although Paraguay weren't looking their best against New Zealand.

Btw., not to forget New Zealand in the wake of this crazy game, huge props to the All Whites for playing three game at the WC and losing none!

Agreed! One of their players is a part-timer who works in bank and had to get special hoiiday privileges to play in the World Cup for god's sake! Incredible.

Some of the losing underdogs have a lot to be proud of this time around.
