I would puke if he looked like the Disco Klingons.

If it does turn out that he tried to do more in Starfleet, I think it would be interesting if he ended up hitting a brick wall in that career and never going beyond Commander rank or getting assigned a command of his own, as Sisko had indicated was very likely because of what happened with Jadzia on the mission to get the defector (or whatever it was, exactly).

ETA: on second thought, they would probably just ignore that, as Trek has a tendency to do.

Hopefully we see minimal amount of Klingons with Picard.

They used an unaltered picture of late TNG Worf in a Picard museum prop, which might show up on screen in the actual show.

We all kinda know that Worf is still the Enterprise tactical officer in Ins and Nem because of lazy writing. Nowhere in canon was it ever mentioned that he gave up his ambassadorial post to go back to the lowly life of a Starfleet crewman.
Picard could seriously right a wrong (to many fans) to mention that Worf is still the Federation's ambassador to Kronos. It would be inconsistent for his character to actually lead the empire since he's never had interest in that job before, even when he actually won the right.

Let Worf's makeup look like Klingons from the TNG tv era:barf::thumbdown::klingon: not the crappy Discovery reboot makeup they look terrible and yucky .

I can't remember where I read it, but I read somewhere that Bryan Fuller insisted on the new design for the Klingons because he wanted them more alien looking. Usually I love his stuff, but as time when on I learned that almost all of the bad ideas in the early Discovery episodes came from Fuller. Getting rid of him actually turned out to be the best thing that happened to Discovery.
Insurrection does at least have the line about Worf being on the way to a conference before getting picked up by the Enterprise, so they tried to explain his presence on the Enterprise. Nemesis didn't even do that much.

Also, Worf gets asked to become an ambassador after Insurrection. He wasn't a lowly crewman, but a high ranking officer. Other Klingons speak of Worf's "illustrious Starfleet career."

I wouldn't be surprised if the ending of season 1 Picard would be the same as the ending of Discovery's season 1, with the Enterprise showing up...

I could definitely see that happening.

It does sound like they had some cool ideas, it was just so different from what we saw from the Klingons before. I actually ended up liking the Klingons after I got used to them, but it was still a bit weird at first to see them presented so differently after almost 30 years of seeing them presented fairly consistently.

I wouldn't suspect him to look all that different, except maybe for grey hair.

I don’t see the big deal with the Klingon look being different in Discovery. Us, as earthlings, have many different colours and races. We don’t all look the same. Considering the Klingons live on a variety of plants, not just Kronos, why is it not possible they don’t all look alike?

Just cause we don’t see Worf this season doesn’t mean if Picard goes for three seasons as planned that Dorn won’t make a guest appearance.

That still raises the question of why Micheal Dorn's signature was on there. Maybe he was just traveling with Frakes or someone else that day?

Might have just been visiting the set that day. Marina Sirtis visted the Discovery set during Season 1 or 2 while Frakes was filming.

I'm relieved. I was nervous they were going to turn Word into the STD Klingon.
