I had my doubts about the casting, but i'm looking forward to this big screen treatment of a member of the Mount Rushmore of DC's top characters.

Yeah, the Mongols were too far east to interact with the ancient Greeks, of course.
And I don't see "arms like woven cables" in that art, I see arms clad in heavy winter coats. And art can be exaggerated. Looking at photos of real-life archery champions proves that you don't need cartoonishly exaggerated muscles to be strong.
IGN has a new interview with Gal Gadot, where she says she spent 9 months training for the role. I'm pretty sure after that much training she's gonna be fit enough to play WW. She looks great to me in the clips, and in perfectly good shape to be Wonder Woman.
How much (muscle) weight do you think that she has gained for the part?

Our first look at Paradise Island. This'll be good. I see that they took inspiration from China. When I think of exotic otherworldly locales, China is often what comes to mind.

Although, to paraphrase a Facebook meme I recently saw, there are significantly more Chinese people in the world than there are Americans and Europeans combined, so if anything, they're the normal ones and we're the exotic ones.
