Germans and Ottomans were allies and if they've placed Themyscrira anywhere near Greece, Ottoman involvement would make sense. But I'm only guessing as I'm not an expert on early 20th century Ottoman military uniforms.

Could be Circassians. (I'm reaching, I know...it's just that it would be cool for there to be a reference to the Ottoman Empire in a modern blockbuster movie).
