Weren't there three different post-credits scenes (plus the one where Stryker is arrested part of the way through the credits)? Fox attached different scenes to different prints in order to get butts in the seats (along with their, "the online version was just the much shorter workprint" ploy).
4: I assume the surgery they did on Scott is the reason why he cannot control his powers in this reality. And I will give them points form not "saying" the sister was Emma Frost.
So who were the other kids?
The one strapped to the center of his cell might be Quicksilver
The other speedster might be the villain Whirlwind.
And of course there are the mandatory Mutant Twins
I picked it up today. I didn't see it during it's theatrical run so it was all new to me. I enjoyed it. It was a fun little action flick. Certainly not the travesty so many fans have made it out to be.
It might be the fact that I know exactly jack and shit about the comic book character that allowed me to enjoy the movie. None of the changes hurt me any because I didn't know they'd been made in the first place.![]()
I have no regrets. I got what I wanted out of the flick.
Personally I thought with all the bitching and hyperbole flying around this place about Wolverine that it was going to be Terminator 4 awful. It wasn't. Not by a loooong shot.
I do find it troubling that Professor X was on the Island. Especially that he was there at the exact moment the Logan forgot everything. So in the previous three movies when Xavier says he can't help Logan, is he lying? Does he know everything that happened? With his telepathy, he should be able to rebuild Logan's past thru other people's memories.
Why weren't people more shocked by the displays of mutant powers here? We are several years out of Magneto's terrorism and other public displays of power. Mutants should be more "Weekly World News" than "NY Times" at this point in history, but nobody seem shocked or anti-mutant, especially compared to the previous three movies.
I actually bought the Director's Cut of Elektra, but I wouldn't buy Wolverine- it's got a near zero babe factor.Worse then Elektra???
Rented it, watched it, will forget it...
...This film was in no way honest to itself, the films that came before it or the characters. It was just plain not well made.
Fact.
Yes. According to the credits her name is Emma. Also, the female doctor that was there at the adamantium bonding experiment and later working on Wade, the one who told Stryker that not even that adamantium bullets would kill Logan and that he'd only heal from it was named "Dr. Frost". Perhaps yet another sister for Emma and Kayla here in the movie continuity? It was...................disappointing.
After all the flack they got for X-Men 3, you'd think they'd step up their game for Wolverine.
Was that Emma Frost or not?
Her secondary mutation is to transform into a diamond form, a form she is currently trapped in in the current comics. Pretty similar to the way Colossus changes, but without the strength. What was her power, the ability to be a human Bedazzler?
Why was she made of Bling?
Could be a set up for the next sequel. He is now the first person Logan can ever remember meeting.Gambit was totally pointless.
Seemed well enough for the role he had. This was never meant to be a film to be in the Oscar hunt for best acting after all. Will i Am can't act for shit.
I enjoyed the take this movie had on the character myself. The Blob was completely wrong!
Not to mention shining a whole different light on the movie Kate & Leopold.Liv Shrivber is the only saving grace of the film.
Why would Stryker send a mutant with an uncanny ability with guns to kill Wolverine, then mention five minutes later only adamantium bullets can kill Wolverine? Umm...why didn't you give the sharp shooting mutant the adamantium bullets?
Opinion. And that of one of the most notorious haters and film snobs in the forum..
C'mon, I know it is the "popular thing" to do these days online - it wasn't *THAT* bad, guys.... I have seen many worse films this year.

If she's the sister of "Silverfox", then her last name isn't "Frost". Therefore she's not Emma "Frost" she's Emma "Silverfox".Yes. According to the credits her name is Emma.
